Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Mr Karate,
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Mr Karate,
Happy birthday to you!
She built a box for dirt. This is on the side of the house, and it's in the shade most of the day. She says it is for let-us. I can think of a few things cats would like to be let to do in this box, but Mom says that is why she stapled the mesh over the top.
This is going to be very interesting to watch.

Gracie, Emily & tt, there is no snow in the back yard, so you have won consolation prizes. Please send your favorite flavor of Temptations and your snail mail addresses to me at darlingmillie AT gmail DOT com. (You know how to put them together.) Mom will be putting together the prize packages this weekend, and hopes to mail them next week!
Mom and I will send treats to the contestant who correctly guesses the day the snow is gone out in the back lot. (Sorry Monty, honey. It isn't you.)
Kikkycat doesn't have a blog, but she represents a lot of cats, and Jenny is one the cats at Forty Paws. Concatulations, LadyCats! Please send me and Mom your street addys and be sure to tell us what kind of Temptations treats you like the best.
Mom wasn't sure if that stubborn patch of snow was still there, so she zoomed in with her nifty little camera. She could see a very small patch of snow under the bushes.
She went outside (in her pj's!) and checked. There is a teeny tiny patch of snow. This means Simba, Claude and Marlene, and Daisy the Pomeranian, you guys did not win the When When Contest.
I'm really sorry.
Yesterday Mom took the day off from her day hunting gig and took Mim-may to the Portland Museum of Art to see their Biennial Show.
They had a good day. Mom says they had awesome real live dead fish for lunch at Nara Sushi.
Nope.

and an extended family in Mary-land. I have sticky little people! KidBean, SweetBean and Mooshie! (ok, they're Monty's and not really mine, but they are, sorta. I even have my own special Angel, my Violette.
Soon, I hope...
Mom's a little tired of that view out the window with no green grass or flowers, so she just took a picture of the snow pile we are all watching. If you want "the usual" view, just let us know in the comments.
HEY! That's not funny, Mom! Where's the fleece cover for my cat cup?
(Millie, it was dirty. It was covered in fur. I put it in the washer.)
Fine. Suit yourself. I'll just nap in these nice, warm, clean sheets.
It is getting warmer and sunnier every day, and there may be a When When winner very soon!
I'm napping in the sun in my cat hammock, so I'm happy.
Mom did a little fabric shopping at her favorite quilt shop, Quilted Threads in Henniker NH on Saturday, so she's happy too.
Mother Nature played a good trick on us yesterday. It was a better prank than I could have thought up on my own. We did not get as much snow as we could have, and it is melting, so I am sure we will have a winner soon.
Can you see the birdies I am stalking?
There is snow outside right now, and that means you haven't won the When When Contest.
Mother Nature has pulled a big April Fool's joke on all of us. Instead of giving us sunny skies and warmer weather, she has decided to give us the one thing we don't want.
Mom is still learning how to use her new camera. She can't figure out how to get it to take pictures without flashing lights. I hope she figures it out soon, or nobody is ever going to see a picture of me with my eyes open ever again!
Mom has been playing in dirt.
Which is fine with me, as long as she leaves my heated cat cup alone.
She has been threatening to put the cover in the washing machine to take off my furs.
Mom's working on finishing a quilt, and you know what happens then, don't you? The house gets REALLY MESSY! There are dirty dishes in the kitchen, unfolded laundry on the couch in the living room, stuff all over the dining room table, and the floors and rugs need to be sucked.
She's finally learning what it's like to be a cat! (But don't tell her I said so!)
