It was a warm weekend, and a lot of the snow melted. Mom is hoping it will be gone by the end of the month. We'll see. If you look in my sidebar, you can see a list of all the contestants of the When When Contest with the dates they have chosen.
When she gets up, I take care of business.
It's sunny outside again today. I spent yesterday lounging on my back in the sun, but I moved every time Mom tried to take a picture. Heh.
I didn't eat the beef stinky goodness she gave me. So she tried another flavor, turkey. I gobbled it right down!
It is supposed to be sunny here all day! Mom is gonna be doing stupid stuff like sewing and trying to figure out why I didn't eat my stinky goodness last night. I ate my crunchies!
It's finally Friday. It's cold here in New Hampster, but it should be a bit warmer over the weekend.
The man in the bloo shorts brought me presents yesterday! Lookit all the neat stuff I got! I got some Temptations, some awesome 'Nip, a great mousie, and a cat sitter DVD full of birds I can watch any time! Wowza! Thank you Oreo from Furr-ginia for this neat stuff!
Here's what it looks like outside the window this morning. It is cold now, but the weather guys say it is supposed to warm up later. When Mom gets her act together she will post a list of dates and cats for the When When Contest so we can all see how the contest is going.
I love Mom's towel. Wherever she puts it, I claim it.

It's gonna be a good day for me no matter what, as you can tell from this picture Mom took of me playing last night. Look familiar?

It's ugly out there today. March is Mom's least favorite month. She says the whole month is usually full of days like this, grey, damp and yukky. The good thing about a day like this is the snow is melting.
The snow is still here. Today it is supposed to be warmer, up to 37F (2.78C). Big deal! Tomorrow it might snow, then rain, and then on Saturday it is supposed to be 50F (10C).
Mom caught me in a rather ris-kay pose last night. She says Monty is gonna collapse. I don't think he'll need a trip to the icebox, he can just go outside...
This snow isn't going anywhere anytime soon. It isn't supposed to get up above freezing today or tomorrow. But it should be in the 50's (F) over the weekend!

We do. (Sigh.) I know lots of cats and woofies have this snow at their houses, too. It's supposed to snow all day. I'll do what I usually do on days like this (or any other day, to be honest with you): find a nice warm spot and nap.
Since there is still snow on the ground, and we are supposed to be having snow on Sunday night into Monday, I have decided to have the When When Contest again this year. Here's how it will work:

She bought me a big bag of crunchies the other day, and she also bought me some new fancy stinky goodness. I licked the juices, but left the rest. She finally got the message last night, and took away the so-called fancy stuff and gave me the Beef flavored Fancy Feast I like better. What can I say? She got a book in a box from the guy in the bloo shorts yesterday and she has had her nose stuck in it all day. She's just so hard to train.
Regular readers will know that I only started sitting next to Mom a year ago. I would only sit next to her if she didn't have anything on her lap, not even a fleece blankie. I wouldn't sit next to her if she was reading a book or a magazine, and certainly not if she was working on her tippy-tappy lapbox.
Lookit these gi-normous snowflakes that fell yesterday morning while Mom was getting ready to go day hunting. Mom said there were many magical sliding cars while this was happening. Fortunately hers wasn't one of them.
I understand a stork will be visiting Monty Q's house later this year. I guess it wouldn't be a surprise to anybody if I said Mom is gonna make a quilt for this tiny bean. She already has big plans.
It's so nice being a cat. One day is as good as any other when you've got a nice comfy napping spot.
I think this special Gizzy Quilt, that Mom made for my sweetie, Monty Q, expresses my Valentine's Day sentiments perfectly.

Mom's Alphabet Sampler Quilt is flying back to my house from Tennis-see where it was quilted. I am waiting to perform the final QA inspection, but I gotta say it's looking pretty good.

Well, you know, whatever makes Mom happy. That can work for me too.
