What Can I Say?

Monty Q was my first, and only, love. He made me laugh and he made me blush. Of course, I did my  best to make him blush too. We had a lot of truly wonderful times together, and we shared many sad ones. We brought our Moms together, and they are best friends, and that's really awesome.

Of course I knew back in November that Monty had run away to the Bridge. It was very hard to accept, but I know he is with Sprout and I also know that Gizzy is nearby. I am sure they are already best buds. 

Hold a spot for me there, dearest Monty. When my time comes I know you'll be waiting.

MONTY Q is HOME!!!!!

OH MY BAST! I just heard, MONTY Q is HOME!

MomBean called Mom and said he didn't seem to be hurt in any way. She said Monty Q was skinny and hungry, but he's home.

My Monty Q has always had a bit of wanderlust in him, and he just LOVES my Mom. I am SO GLAD he is home.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to teleport myself to Maryland to offer comfort to my sweetie...

I can't believe it! Today one of my favorite little sticky people, Mooshie, turns FOUR years old!

He is very helpful.

An article about Monty and me (and our Moms, of course, since they help us out with blogging.) I am very excited. Mom is, too. She's been telling everybody about it, and showing the magazine to all her family and friends. The nice lady who wrote the article, Megan Fisher, is a regular commenter on my blog. She sent Mom a "preview copy" of the magazine. Thank you Megan! The article is terrific!

Mom's feeling much better today. She has taken the Christymas decorations down, and will be packing them away. I will be playing under the tree as long as I can.

Thoughtful Thursday

I'm not really yellow. I just look this way sometimes when Mom takes a picture without using the flash. Mom says it's because the light is low.

What I am thinking about is this: Monty, when are you coming out from under the bed or wherever you are hiding?

Millie Monday

I'm resting up. It's been bizzy around here.Yesterday Mom watched Roger Federer defeat Rafael Nadal in the ATP World Tour final.
That was good.

Then she made some of her Red Velvet Cupcakes
for her friends Diana and Art who are visiting from California. Mom says they are really good. (Me, I prefer stinky goodness.)

Her quilt, Letters From Home, will be coming home today, from Washington state, and Houston Texas, where it has been traveling since January. Mom is very excited about that.

Mom talked to Monty's MomBean last night. They have been furry bizzy too. First the whole fambly went to Disney World, then everybody got sick (MomBean had bronk-eye-tis). Everybody is better now, Mooshie is walking, and guess what he loves more than anything?

(I'll give you a hint... it has four furry legs and it isn't a woofie.)

I wanted to pass this news along to you because I wanted you all to know they are all OK.

My Tabby Man

I have seen a picture of Monty, sans furs. (No, I'm not going to show you.) I know what it's like to get shaved, so I know how funny he feels. He's the same Monty, but I'll tell you something you might not know.

He -isn't- fat.

In fact, he's a lean, mean, handsome feline machine...

Surprising Saturday

Mom spent the whole day yesterday with her brother, Mr Fine Furnituremaker. You can read about it on her quilting blog. I was left to fend for myself. Fortunately there are plenty of good places to nap, and there was a big bowlful of stinky goodness, and another of my favorite crunchies along with several bowls of water. It was a nice warm day, and Mom had windows open so I could sit in the sun and smell the nice warm smells.

However.

This morning, news of an alarming nature reached me.

Monty's beans have been on vacation the last few days (visiting some weirdos named Mickey, Pluto, Minnie and Tinkerbell, among others). Monty was sent to kitty jail. But that's not the worst part.

The worst part is...

is... is... (I am so sorry, I'm having a hard time getting it out...) he was...

he was...

shaved clean.

(gasp!)

Yes. He was shaved clean. He is now a nekkid tabbyman.

I think I have to go lie down now.

Sneaky Sunday

Mom's cleaning and sewing. The Tennis starts tomorrow, and she wants to be ready. Me? Well, I -was- napping on that nice fleece blanky, but then a birdie flew into the bushes, and now I am stalking mode...

Hi everybody!

While Mom was out looking at metal masheens this morning, I have been visiting my sweetheart, Monty Q.

He has an abscess on his back and had to visit the V-e-t where he got an Aunti-Biotic shot. He also has a cold and MomBean says his boo-boo is more swollen today than it was yesterday. We're all hoping it gets better real soon or he has another visit to the v-e-t in his future.

Would you all be so kind as to send him some purrs?
