What Can I Say?

Monty Q was my first, and only, love. He made me laugh and he made me blush. Of course, I did my  best to make him blush too. We had a lot of truly wonderful times together, and we shared many sad ones. We brought our Moms together, and they are best friends, and that's really awesome.

Of course I knew back in November that Monty had run away to the Bridge. It was very hard to accept, but I know he is with Sprout and I also know that Gizzy is nearby. I am sure they are already best buds. 

Hold a spot for me there, dearest Monty. When my time comes I know you'll be waiting.

Thoughtful Thursday

This is my sweetie, Monty Q. (Isn't he the most handsome mancat ever?)

He watches over four little sticky people. (Actually two of them are neither little nor sticky, but still.) He is very good at what he does, and it keeps him furry bizzy. When he gets too tired and needs to recharge his batteries, he naps on MomBean, as you can see here.

I think of Monty every day.

In the snow department, it is still here, although Spring is only a day or so away.  

Tuxie Tuesday

Winter is coming. It is getting cold out, and I have been napping a lot in my heated cat cup. Before I take my morning nap, I like to lie here in the window looking out at the street. It's usually a quiet spot, out of Mom's hustle and bustle workday morning routine, but she caught me and took this picture.

I want you all to know that when Mom posts a photo of me, it is one she has taken recently. I don't like to go back in the old photo albums and show -old- pictures. I want you to see NEW pictures. This one was taken this morning.

Speaking of new, I want to see if Monty comes out from under the bed!

Lotta Lovin' Goin' On!

Mom and I are having a great visit here in Mary-land. I am hanging out with Monty (I love Mooshie, but I'm keeping my distance now.) Mom has cooked dinner for the beans, made cookies and is making a dress for SweetBean. It doesn't sound like a vacation to me, but she's happy. The sticky beans even gave her a cold, but she says she's having a great time.

She holds Mooshie, and he giggles, and KidBean and SweetBean give her goodnight kisses every night.

It's all good here!

Saturday Preparations

Mom has been getting ready for Christymas. She went shopping last night for presents for Kidbean and Sweetbean.

She bought more Christymas Holiday cards and stamps. And she's finally working on the Christymas tree skirt she tried to make last year. Here is a bit of the fabric she is using. Great, huh?
And get this, Mom's gotta go day hunting today. Again. This time for the apparently elusive Month End, which she hunts once a month but never catches.
Me, I'm just doing my thing. Hey Monty, wanna come over and visit?

Monty IS Home!

My sweetie, Monty Q, went out last night and didn't come back. Monty, GO HOME! I can't lose you too! came back this morning, very cold.

He has this to say about the invader. He said It is annoying and It is Tucker-ing out the kidbeans. He does not trust It. But he is bigger than It.

My sweetie is missing! home!

I guess he slipped out when the Pizza guy left the door open too long. Silly Monty! He spent the night on a neighbor's porch chair, safe and sound.

Thank goodness! I feel -so- much better!
