C-c-cold!

Mom says no matter how much I ask, she's not letting me out on the front porch. Frankly, I'm good with that.

Frosty Morning

Yes, it's below freezing out.

 Yes, I still wanted to go out on the front porch.

Yes, Mom let me go.

Yes, I was FINE. I was out there for about fifteen minutes, enough to survey my domain, then I came back inside.

Tuxie Tuesday

It's chilly out. I slept right next to Mom last night. Not ALL night, mind you, but for a lot of it. Her bed is big, so there's room for both of us, and it's nice and warm.

It's still super cold out, so naturally I have found a nice warm spot for napping.

We have lots of snow, as you can see.

 and sure, it's sunny. That's nice.  But.


It's cold out. Really cold. Dangerously cold.

There are 32 days until Spring. I can't wait.

Easy Like Sunday

The weather warmed up, so Mom opened up the door to the sewing studio. Now it is very cozy and I have taken over the kitty condo in there.

As you can see we had a little bit of snow. The weather is supposed to be cold again this week, but typical of the weather we usually have in January.

Mom has been a bit tired lately, so we haven't blogged every day like we like to, but I don't want her to get sick, so I am happy she has been resting a bit.  The tennis has started again. Next week our attention will be in Melbourne and we will be watching the Australian Open. Of course, we shall also be following our pals, the guys named Pat, who won a crazy game against the Ravens last night.

Cold, Colder, Coldest

It is very cold here. It is 11F (-11.6 C) and supposed to get colder. The HIGH today is expected to be 18F (-7.7C) and we might get some "snow showers" later this afternoon. 

This is nothing compared to tomorrow. The weather guys think it will be in the minus numbers by tomorrow night and -9F (-22.7 C) on Thursday morning. As long as the heat works, the metal masheen starts, Mom says we'll be fine.

Chilly Millie Monday

It's supposed to be very cold this week. I've got to make sure all my napping spots are nice and warm.

Enough Already!

One month ago today, Mom, Mim-may and I left for Catifornia. It was overcast, rainy and 40F (4.4C).

This morning when Mom woke up, it was foggy and -gasp- 37F! (That's 2.7C). It was so cold in the house that Mom turned on the fake fire-thingy.

Enough with the rainy cool weather!  Bring on the Hots!

Thursday Two-fer

It is furry cold outside today. Mom says it won't get above freezing for about a week.

Tuxie Tuesday

It rained all day yesterday. It got very very foggy - Mom said it was like being in a cloud - and during the day the temperature got all the way up to 55F! That's almost 13C!  But it got really cold last night, and right now it is 10F, and won't get much warmer. The rain melted some snow, but as you can see from the driveway, it's all frozen. It's not as cold here as it is in other parts of the US of A, and I am certainly glad to be an inside kitty.  I have been spending a lot of time in my heated cat cup, or on my kitty condo, where it is nice and warm.  Do you have a favorite napping spot or two or three?

While this is certainly COLD, combined with the wind, the "wind chill factor" makes it more like -14F (-25C).  Lookit what the weather guys say the temperatures are around different places in New Hampster:

Millie Monday

Well! The snow is over for a day or so, but tomorrow is supposed to be really (really) cold.

How cold? Tomorrow morning it is supposed to be -2F!! (That's -19C!)

I'm glad I'm an indoor kitty with lots and lots of nice warm places to nap.

Not Quite Wordless Wednesday

It's been very cold here, soMom and I have been snuggling together while we watch the tennis. We watched Sloan beat Serena and Roger beat Jo-Willie.

Mom was busy too. Last night she held up three fingers.

Frigid Friday

It's COLD out! Mom says the temperature will not get above freezing ALL DAY, but the next several days should get a lot warmer. We'll see. I'm not holding my breath.

Instead, I'll be napping in my heated cat cup.

It's supposed to be minus 13 F on Monday! (That's -25C. And yes, that's frickin' cold!)

Sunny Saturday

It's very sunny out today, but it is cold and windy. I am very comfy and cozy. Mom has had a rough week day hunting, but she says the project she was working on is finally over, and she says it ended well.

So I have forgiven her for her transgressions this past week. She plans to take it easy this weekend, and I plan to hold her to it.

Not Very Easy on Sunday Morning

Mom was a busy bean yesterday. She did the washing machine shuffle, washed all the dishes, changed the sheets on her bed, and took down the Christymas tree. Now the stuff is in the big storage bins that have to be brought down to the dungeon. She can't even carry the box with the tree, so that will have to wait until Mr Karate comes over.

It's been snowing off and on since Friday, but we haven't got very much. Thank goodness. It's very windy out, making it very cold. Mom is going to stay in, and I plan to get a lot of pets and scritches. After all, she's gotta watch my pals, the guys named Pat.
