Earth Day 2016

Mom and I are extremely worried about our dear planet Earth. Global Warming is a real threat. Here's hoping our leaders will take strong action to keep all of us safe for many years to come.

Truthful Thursday

Mom thinks it's funny that I never got on the top of this kitty condo until we moved to this house.

I think it's funny that every time she sits down to eat her  breakfast, I get onto the table right next to her. Sometimes when I flip my tail around, it gets in her granola, and she gets annoyed. So I have to shift a bit, but we share this time together every day.

It Was a Sunny Day...

It got up to 70F yesterday. Mom had windows open, and she put a kitty hammick on the porch for me so I could be comfy while I watched and smelled the world outside.

It was totally pawesome.

Mom did boring stuff like make bread and cookies and dinner and lunch and sew and read and other stuff. 

Finally Friday

The weather is warming up here, finally. Mom has been outside every day checking if the garden plants she put in the ground are going to come up or not. She's kinda worried.

It's kinda early, I keep telling her.

Anyway, I'm napping. Have a good day!

Since Mom and I got back from California, I've been snuggling next to her when she sits down to watch TV. If she DOESN'T sit, I MEOW rather loudly until she finally figures it out.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Wow.

I am Ten. Yup. Ten years old today.  When I was born I didn't have much of a chance to get to Two.  I almost didn't make it to four months old.

But I got lucky.

I kinda won the cat lottery, and now I live like the Queen I am, with a Mom who loves me in a house just for the two of us with great Bird and Skwirl TV. I have not one but TWO kitty condos and more napping places than a kitty hotel. I get stinky goodness, roast beef, crunchies and all the treats I can eat. I have more friends than I can count who live all over the world.

And I even changed my Mom's life.

Pretty sweet, if you ask me, a formerly feral cat from the streets of New Haven Connecticat.

Snowy Sunday Morning

Mom and I woke up to this.

As you can see, there was not that much snow.

Four hours later, though, it was another story.

I Ain't Going Nowhere

If you read my post yesterday and got all excited because you thought Mom and me were moving to Catifornia, cool your jets.  You should all know how much I like a good April Fool's joke, and this was nothing more than an April Fool's Day prank.

Of course we'd both LOVE to move closer to Mr Karate and Rubylocks and little baby, but that's not in the cards right now.  Maybe someday.

In the meantime, I'm furring up this quilt of Mom's.

Disbelief

I knew it.

I knew it couldn't last. 

As soon as Mom heard she was going to be a Mim-may she's been plotting.

Another M-word implementation is coming.

And seriously, you have to ask where?

We're supposed to have up to five inches of snow this weekend.
