It Was a Sunny Day...

It got up to 70F yesterday. Mom had windows open, and she put a kitty hammick on the porch for me so I could be comfy while I watched and smelled the world outside.

It was totally pawesome.

Mom did boring stuff like make bread and cookies and dinner and lunch and sew and read and other stuff.

Where Am I Wednesday?

Can you see me?

Can you see me now?

I am on the porch on my new pink hammick. I like it better in the corner. I can see more stuff, so Mom moved it.

Where are you hiding out this Wednesday?

Two Terrific Tuesday

Oh. My. Bast. Mom came home with a box last night.

It was from my old friend, Dorfington Fish Stanley, of Forty Paws, in TexCats.

In the box, was not one, but TWO Cat Hammicks! (You can get yours here.) Mom got me a PINK one for the front porch,

and a black one for, well, um, for just because.

The box had 'Nip in it, and it was all over the hammicks, and I confess I lost my composure for about forty two thousand six hundred fifty three seconds.

But it was worth it.

Thank you Dofington Fish Stanley and Maw. I really love my new cat hammicks.

Speechless Sunday x 4

 1. Mom does not know why I decided to lie UNDERNEATH my cat hammick.  I'm not telling.

2. (Ahem) That white stuff falling from the sky and on the ground is just what you think it is.

3. PlusOne (in the red shirt) is sixteen years old today. (Here he is goofing off with Mr Karate in a photo taken last year.)

   4. Mr Karate is here from California visiting. Here are the two cousins today! (Lookit, PlusOne is taller!

Super Sunday

As part of the cleaning frenzy, Mom did this to my hammick:
I hate when that happens. On the other hand, she did this:
She planted her seeds. She says there are SIX pots of 'Nip. Which sounded ok to me, but then I counted... she has THIRTY pots of Basil!

But here's the best part...Lookit! I am eating stinky goodness! Why is this picture such a big deal, you ask?

Because it is the SECOND can of stinky goodness in the same day! FINALLY, I have managed to convince Mom to give me stinky goodness for breakfast AND dinner!

Oh, and the hammick was back to normal after a couple of hours...

Not Quite Wordless

You may remember that Mom bought me a heated cat cup last winter.

I didn't like it, and never, ever got in it. But it is getting colder, and she doesn't want to feed the heating monster in the dungeon. But she doesn't want me to get cold, either. So she got sneaky. She took the heating pad out of the cat cup and put in on my cat hammick, then covered it with padding and several layers of nice warm fleece.

Guess where she found me lounging when she got home from day hunting?

Saturday

Monty wants to make sure I cover his quilt with my special stink. Since he's my Sweetie, I am more than happy to oblige. I made Mom put it on my cat hammick, because that's where I do most of my napping.I've been rubbing my furs all over it.
Yup, I'm really doing my best to give this quilt "that special something."
I hope he appreciates it...

Monty.... Monty...

Monty?

Is he still conscious?
