We're taking it easy today.
But lookit this! Mom brought her suitcase out from the back of her closet.
Seventeen days until we go to Mary-land! Woo hoo!

Hey Monty, your snow is here. Come and get it!
I needed some extra petting to make me feel better. Mom's got to hunt the ever elusive Month End today, and she'll be getting home really really late tonight.
I am so very lucky to be formerly feral and to live a happy, safe life inside!
Lookit! Mom got her quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap, and her partner sent ME treats! She sent me red heart-shaped 'Nip Raviolis! OH! They are SO awesome, as you can see!
You don't think I slept ALL DAY yesterday, do you? Because I didn't. I watched Bode Miller win a Gold Medal at the Olympics! Bode Miller is from New Hampster! Woo hoo!
Mom went to the evil little chocolate store yesterday, and bought chocolate.
What does she think I am? A dog?
Pfft!
Mom's really happy today is Friday. She will finish Mooshie's quilt tonight while watching the Olympics on tv. (You can watch anything you missed here.)
This is my favorite little sticky person. Isn't he cute? This is Mooshie, and he belongs to Monty.
Mom says it supposed to be sunny and warm over the next couple of days, so the snow won't be hanging around much. But go see Monty! The When When Contest has moved to Mary-land, so be sure to enter the contest, by leaving a guess in the comments of THIS POST!
As you can see, I'm fine. I just needed a little break after watching New Hampster's Bode Miller win a medal at the Olympics.

Mom and I will be in Mary-land for Mooshie's dunking in 31 days. We are working on the quilt for Mooshie. You can see me checking out Mom's work on the Rocket House block. Monty and I are both in it along with some of our friends.
Mom's really happy it's Friday. She's been working on Mooshie's quilt, which I can't show you. She really wants to finish it up. There's too much to do to get it done this weekend, but she is looking forward to sewing very much. We are both eager to watch the Winter Olympics.
Lookit me, sitting in Mom's drawer full of what she calls "unmentionables." Why call them unmentionable, I keep wondering? The drawer is full of them, and Mom puts some on every day. I like this drawer as a place to watch things.
This picture was taken seven years ago after a particularly nasty series of storms. That's an old Ford Escort in the driveway. The snowbanks on either side were higher than Mom.
The average snowfall for this part of New Hampster is 42" per year. The first year of the When When Contest, we got almost 120" of snow, almost three times more than normal. Last year, we got over 90" of snow, almost twice as much as normal.
We didn't get any stormy weather here yesterday. There was 3-1/2" inches of rain at Megan's house, almost three feet of snow in Mary-land and Furr-ginia, a couple of feet in O-hi-o and mudslides in Rusty's neighborhood.
It's funny to be hearing about a big snowstorm in the news and not be in the middle of it. I hope my sweetie Monty Q is staying warm and cozy inside with his fambly. Any of my cat pals who want to teleport over to my house to escape the snow are more than welcome.
Mom got a new computer monitor with a few of the green papers she got from this Uncle Sam guy. The rest went to
until I go to Mary-land with Mom for a certain Little Sticky Person dunking. I will get some time with my sweetie, Monty Q (who takes special pride in protecting little Mooshie while Mooshie naps). Mom will make cooking magic in the kitchen.
