How much snow did we get yesterday?
Too damn much. Mon thinks we got a foot or so.
Mom cleaned the bookcases in three rooms and emptied out practically every drawer in the house. She found pens, pencils and highlighters in every single room. Now they are in one place.
Mom was a raving maniac, and I stayed out of the way and napped.

Formerly Feral Friday
Mom went shopping at the red bulls-eye store last night, and brought this stuff home. She says this is because I am -formerly feral- and I should be grateful.
I know she's an artiste and all, and looks at the world differently from a lot of beans, but frankly, I think she's taking this just a bit too far.
She's the one that should be grateful, not me.
I think she really needs the weekend. She needs to chillax.

Family Friday
The treadmill is gone. Woo hoo! I don't have to put up with it's scary noise any more.
Guess who, in the middle of all this housecleaning, cannot find the spare battery for the digital camera?
Heh.

Millie Monday
Mom is going day hunting today, so the craziness is over until she gets back.
Still.
Mom finished fixing up her own bedroom, and cleaned the litterbox room. She packed up SIX boxes of books for pickup later, and finished moving stuff around in the living room. She's also been going through some of the stuff on the top shelves in the kitchen. She ran the dishwasher -three- times today, and even put some dishes out in the trash!
She wants to get rid of the treadmill, but couldn't get it out the door, so it's parked in the dining room until some strong young men can help her get rid of it.
Me? I've managed to get my food dishes moved out of the way of all this foolishness, and even get some good scritches.
Heh.

May Day! Mayday!
Holy Bast! Mom's gone completely crazy! She's been making a GIGANTIC mess! First it was the shelves in the computer room... there are boxes full of books in the dining room! Next, it was the encyclopedias. (Mom says nobody would take them, and believe me, she checked!)
Then, she emptied out the CD rack, and put that out on the street (where it disappeared less than an hour later).
Next, she moved a bookcase across the room (but first she had to empty it out and clean every shelf.) Then she emptied the hutch and moved that near the phone.
Can you see me trying to find a place to hide in the photo below?
She put the dry sink where the hutch used to be, and moved one of her drawings to the wall above it.
Fortunately, my foods are safe and sound.
With Mr Karate's help, she moved the bookcase from her bedroom to the living room, then moved the other bookcase to the same wall and rearranged the furniture a bit.
Not without my approval, of course...
Naturally she couldn't do any of this without dragging the rug sucking monster all over the place, and holy bast, what noise! I spent most of my day avoiding that!
She even moved her bed and one of Mim-may's paintings.
The house is still a disaster. There are boxes of books all over the dining room floor. The table is covered in stuff, and there kitchen is full of dirty dishes.
Mom isn't finished yet either.
Give me strength!

Sat-a-Rack Day
Today is The Big Rack Day for Mom at her day hunting gig. Today is the day they will take all this stuff
and try to fit it into this.
(Mom says it's a rack, but it looks like a closet to me.) And she says this blue spaghetti is gonna get tied up.
Next week, Mom will be putting another servant into the rack and adding and a wall of fire.

Yeah, right.

Feline Friday
Mom has been chasing me around with her little digital camera. I don't like it when it flashes in my face. So I make sure to keep an eye on her when she's got it out. She tries to pretend she isn't going to take my picture, but I'm no dummy. I watch the little red light flash just before she clicks the button. That's why she hardly ever gets pictures of my with my eyes closed.Mom's got all kinds of excitement going on at her day hunting gig. She's been rambling about Naz and San; she's gonna put her servants through the rack, and getting another Tee-one and moving some guy named Data. She's talking about Mozy-ing Ward and June. (?) She's been going on about a couple of Cats, Five-Eee and Six. (She better not be thinking about bringing home another cat. I like being Top Cat). She's going to trade in a couple of old Yoop-ee-esses for a new one, and getting a Lec-trician to install a special plug. And there's something about a servant named Jack that doesn't know anything.
Listening to her rant and rave makes me SO glad I am a cat.
