I am in China!

Really and truly! I am in China Maine. Or at least I was yesterday. Then we went to Mexico, then to Norway and finally we ended up in Belfast.

See?

We ate Vietnamese Noodle Soup (also known as Pho, but pronounced "fuh") for dinner. It had BEEF in it.

Mom got Espresso Coffee ice cream for dessert.

And I made friends with Miranda. She is a geezer kitty, lots older than I am and she is deaf.

Mom and I are on a mini vacation here in Maine, and we are having a good time. Happy Fourth of July!!

As for my "traveling bag" in yesterday's photo, that is Mom's summer purse.

Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July!  Happy Independence Day, USA!  I hid under the bed last night when all the sparky boom-booms exploded last night.

Mom has done the dishes and has something cooking in the crooked pot. We have the air colditioners running so we are both trying to stay cool today.

Oh. Big news. Sorta. I will get to meet Yoda later this year when Mom and I visit Mr Karate and Rubylocks.

Happy Fourth of July!

With all the banging going on, I needed to catch up on my Z's.  So I am a bit late celebrating the Fourth of July. Happy Fourth!

Now I have some napping to do!

Tuxie Tuesday

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July here in the US.  That means the air is full of bangs and booms and cracks and rat-tat-tats of firecrackers and fireworks.  I do not like crack-and-boom storms, and I don't like firecrackers or fireworks either.

Tell me when it's over.

Happy Fourth of July!

As you all know, I do not like crack-and-boom-storms. I do not like fire-cracker-boomers either, and last night was full of fire-cracker-boomers going off every other minute. I found a good place to hide, and I am staying put.No, I am not hiding in the Zuke-eenie. Mom just wants to show off.

Happy Fourth of July!

This is some cool patriotic fabric Mom saw on eQuilter. If you live in the USA, you should check out Google's home page today. There is a Rube Goldberg Google Doodle that actually works!

Happy Fourth of July! Happy Independence Day!

Fourth of July!

Happy 4th of July, America!
(this picture is of the fireworks over Boston)

Happy Birth-day to Mamma Laura's twins! Mamma Laura will have the twins by Caesarean today! The Cat Blogosphere got together and ordered two Babybean-sized GizzyQuilts for them.

Mom emailed Mamma Laura and asked what colors she should make the quilts. Mamma Laura said she was thinking of Red, White and Blue, since the babies' birthday would be today. Mom thought that was a pretty good idea, so she went out shopping yesterday for some Red, White and Blue fabrics. Here is some of what she bought:Aren't these reds with white pretty?
These blues and blue and whites are quite nice too,But Mom was really excited when she saw these baseballs! We all know that Mu Shue and Lilly Lu are big Boston Red Sox fans! Mom thought this fabric would be -perfect- in the quilt.

Happy Independence Day!

Mom and I are going to watch Wimbledon!

Oh, Monty!Monty said there weren't any pictures of me in the blog today, so I decided to add this for him!

Napping on Gizzys

Lookit this nice pillow Mom left on the wing chair for me. It makes such a nice pillow for me while I am napping on my Gizzy quilt.

Jasmine really liked this Holiday Gizzy Mom was working on yesterday.

4th of July BfG Quilt # 1
current bid: $55

4th of July BfG Quilt # 2
current bid: $50

Mom and I would like to donate these two Bizzy for Gizzy Quilts as our way of saying Thank You to all the Cats and Beans in the Blogosphere. Without all of you, I wouldn't be here, and Mom and I would never have met such wonderful beans.

Mom and I will donate the funds received to DKM's San Francisco AIDS Hop this year.

As you can see, Mom has finished both 4th of July BfG Quilts. The quilts are 100% top-quality cotton with a fleece middle. They are 24" square and are machine washable and dryable.

Please post your bids in the comments. The Auction ends July 3rd, at Midnight, Pacific Time. Mom will pay shipping inside the US.

One other note: the price for BfG Quilts will be increasing in July.
