QA Sunday

Mom finished a big quilt she'll use as a tablecloth on Turkey Day.  Naturally I had to inspect every aspect of it.

Finally Friday

Mom is at it again. Check this out.

This is the super duper freezy box. Mom cleaned it out last night. She threw away lots of old popsicles (too much sugar) and ice cream. She's not a big ice cream fan. Mr Karate LOVES ice cream, but he lives so far away now that Mom doesn't think it's worth keeping on hand. Mom also tossed a lot of bags of things she says are "mixed frozen veggies." She never cooks with them, so they are gone. And she tossed some old frozen hamburgers and "mystery meat." She kept the frozen peas, corn and spinach. There is an entire bin full of nuts and another full of coconut and different kinds of seeds. There's a bin for meat, one for real live dead shrimps and one full of yukky green basil pesto. She also keeps some granola, pizza dough and homemade stock in this box.  Now Mom is happy.  Go figure. I don't get it either.

Tuesday Tippy-Tapping

Mom is back to working with her papers. Last night she started scribbling on them. She hasn't done any tippy-tapping, although she says that's coming.

 Naturally I snoopervised.

Finally Friday

It's almost the weekend. Mom wants to work on the garden.  She'll plant the usual yukky green stuff - spinach and lettuce, arugula and bibb, several kinds of basil and thyme and rosemary. She'll plant some 'Nip for me along with some nasturtiums and merrygolds.

Me? I'm gonna watch the neighbs next door from my vantage point on my kitty condo. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some snoopervising to do.

Millie Monday

Mom's been doing stuff she likes to do. She's been sewing a bit. Since her back is bum now, she spends a lot of time lying on the couch watching TV.  Last night she watched the finale of Iron Chef.  She has also been watching Top Chef Texas and Project Accessory. 

She is finishing up the Christymas presents and the decorating.  I am snoopervising everything.

And staying warm, because it's cold out.

Thursday Thing

It still looks cold out there, but the temperature is supposed to get above freezing today, and some stuff should melt. We are supposed to have rain and snow tomorrow. It will be interesting.
Do you know that to take the picture every day Mom actually OPENS the window! Yup! All that cold air blows in. Mom says it smells good. She's right!

Mom has decided she has to clean up her sewing studio. She had fabrics stacked up everywhere, and no room to work, so last night she started cleaning it up. As you can see, I was snoopervising.
