Come Hither Wednesday

I'm practicing my Full Monty for the Do the Q contest. I'm also practicing my "Come Hither" look for Monty.

Anybody think it's working?

Tuxie Tummy Tuesday

When it's hot out, I lie on my back. Can I help it if it makes Monty Q swoon?

White-belly Wednesday

Monty Q sent me this in my comments on yesterday's blog:

"There was a problem with the contest site last night and your belly picture was accidentally...um..'misplaced.'

The judge will have to have at least two new belly pictures now for snorgling...erm...viewing."

Well, who am I to say no to my sweetie-pie?

Here's one:

Here's two:

OK, Monty, snorgle away. But try to avoid leaving snorgle marks on Mombean's computer monitor. And don't drool on the keyboard.

Of course you can teleport over and share my hammock with me. There's room for you. I'll just freshen up a bit...

Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day

Mom had a day like that yesterday.

Millie, it wasn't that bad...

Well it sounded bad to me. First she got stung by a hornet that followed her into the building where she does her day hunting. It hid on her umbrella, and when she moved it, she got stung on her thumb. She was in the hallway and all of a sudden she dropped everything on the floor and screamed "OW!" Everybody looked up and thought she was a little silly for a few minutes.

Then a co-hunter told her at lunchtime the metal machine had a flat tire. Which was bad enough, but her membership to Triple Ay had expired. So she waited for a friend to help her out. Which turns out to have been a better idea because her spare tire (which rides underneath her metal machine) had a hole in it!

The co-hunter was a car guy and had a little portable air compressor and he filled the flat tire (which had a little leak) and then let her take it home in case she needed to use it this morning.

But the worst thing of all was that she got home TWO HOURS LATE and I was HUNGRY!!!

There are TWO pieces of Good News.

One: Babybean is healing beautifully and the doctors and nurses are very impressed. (I think the fact that Babybean figured out how to open the door and was 1/3 of the way down the hallway, giggling, before Dadbean caught her was the best news of the day!)

Two: I decided to submit THIS picture to Monty Q's Do the Q contest.
I'm calling it the Curly Q.

Thursday Thirteen

It's so hot, everybody is trying to spend as much time as possible in rooms that are as cold as the icebox. Since everybody's in the icebox already...

Here are 13 Full Monty Variations. One of them will probably be the one I submit to Monty Q's Do the Q contest, but I still haven't figured out which one. Maybe you can help me choose.

1. Cooling off
2. Showing my stiches
3. A little bit risky
4. This is wacky

5. Who, me?6. Curled up Q
7. Stayin' Alive
8. Hangin Out
9. I got my eye on you
10. You lookin' at me?
11. I am quite comfortable, really.
12. Sideways
13. Beauty Pose

Monday Monty Variation

This is a Half Monty with a Sideways Twist in the Pike Position. I think this pose shows off my flexibility. I'm still practicing.

So-Hot Saturday

Actually, Monty Q, I was referring to the weather around here lately. We have been having a "heat wave" which for us here in New England is three consecutive days of 90F+ (32C) temperatures. Our poor friends in Catifornia, or New Mexicat wouldn't say that is hot at all. But here we have humidity. When something called the "dew point" is above 70, it is considered "oppressive."

So right now this minute, here in New Hampster, (at 7:30 AM) the temperature is 72F (22C), the humidity is 94% and the dew point is 70. That means it's nasty and icky and sticky.

Yesterday the temperature was 93F (34C), and the dew point was 73. Yesterday was terrible. I even stayed in the sewing room with Mom while she had the Air Colditioner machine running (with the door closed) for a while.

A-N-Y-W-A-Y... this is my way of saying that when we have weather like this, doing a Full Monty (or a variation) is simply a way to cool off. I have been practicing my Full Montys, trying to find a pose that will really, you know, knock the judge's socks off.

Or send Monty Q in the icebox for the day...

(Millie, Be Nice! Don't tease poor Monty)

He told me not to stop doing the Full Monty on his account!

I have been tagged for the proverb meme, and also for the Schmooze award, and I didn't forget, but I have been busy (hot) and I'm working on them...

Full Monty, Woofie Version

This is Mr & Mrs Big & Mr Little Big's dog Lucky, sound asleep, doing the Full Monty next to Mr Little Big. Lucky is a girl woofie.

Wacky Full Monty Variation

I don't do the Monty Q, but I do the Full Monty. Here is a Wacky Full Monty with a Roundhouse Kick variation. I am so lucky my # 13 is covered by black furs. Otherwise, this would practically be an XXX-rated pose.

That's a good thing for Monty Q -- I dunno if he could find a room cold enough.

Tuxie Tummy Tuesday

I have to enter Monty Q's contest, Do the Q, so I am practicing my Full Monty. This is my "Saturday Night Fever" version. Monty Q, what do you think? You can click the picture and make it bigger if you need a better look.
