It's nice and sunny out, and later the temps will get just above freezing.

It is a beautiful day today. Sunny, and perfect for snoozing in my kitty condo here in the sewing studio. I hope you are all having a good day today.

Mom says this photo is unusual because I don't usually sleep with my back to the room. Usually I like to see what might come at me.

So I've been snoozing, and Mom has been doing whatever she wants. Which isn't much. She said Friday was worse than Thursday and that Monday will be a real H-E double hockeysticks kind of a day.  She isn't looking forward to it.

So we're both resting.

I've been napping the day away.

Where? I'm not telling.

Maybe it was under the bed, maybe it was in the sewing room, maybe it was on my special pillow in the computer room. Mom couldn't find me all day (so there are no pictures.)

It's nice and sunny here (although it is very cold out, 20F, -6.6C). When it's sunny, I like to nap in my cat hammock. Later, I'll move to my tent, and after dinner I'll nap in the heated cat cup.

It's been a hectic week and Mom says it isn't over yet. Our friend Rhette was here on Thanksgiving, and then Shari was visiting. It's been really great visiting with them. (I even let Shari give me pets and scritches.) Last night it was Mr Karate here. Mom and he were both hungry, but didn't want turkey, so Mom made baked pasta with four cheeses (Pasta ai Quattro Formaggi), and omigoodness, did it smell good! Mr Karate ate enough for four people!

Today is gonna be a snoozy day. Mom is gonna make a Gizzy quilt for a ginger boy, and tomorrow she is going to give the hot-as-hell-box a workout. She's gonna make some Red Velvet Cupcakes for her friends Diana and Art who will be visiting next week.

Oh! Mom's watching tennis, too!

Snoozy Saturday

Mom came home Friday night and was in bed at 9 PM. That's like, wicked early for her. She got up kinda woozy and then got sidetracked with one thing and another, and even though she took a picture of me this morning, she forgot (gasp!) to put up my blog until now!

Anyway, it was sunny and warm here. Mom went food hunting, did the washing machine shuffle, and changed the sheets on her bed. She even put her garden to bed, although I do not know what that means. She's got all her errands done (except the metal masheen needs to be gassed up), so we will have lots of time for scritches later.
