It's been a hectic week and Mom says it isn't over yet. Our friend Rhette was here on Thanksgiving, and then Shari was visiting. It's been really great visiting with them. (I even let Shari give me pets and scritches.) Last night it was Mr Karate here. Mom and he were both hungry, but didn't want turkey, so Mom made baked pasta with four cheeses (Pasta ai Quattro Formaggi), and omigoodness, did it smell good! Mr Karate ate enough for four people!
Today is gonna be a snoozy day. Mom is gonna make a Gizzy quilt for a ginger boy, and tomorrow she is going to give the hot-as-hell-box a workout. She's gonna make some Red Velvet Cupcakes for her friends Diana and Art who will be visiting next week.
Oh! Mom's watching tennis, too!

Millie, I think you have the right idea to snooze the day away!
Mommy wishes she lived at your house...she could pet you (maybe) and eat your Mom's cooking, and sew. Bliss.
Millie, that sounds like a fabulous way to spend the day! My human's thinking about knitting cuz we're all snowy and cold over here and she doesn't want to go out. I hope she does. It's fun to hold the wool for her with my paws.
The pasta sounds good!
Mmmm... red velvet cupcakes! I hope you get some of THOSE!
Wow - you have a hectic social life Millie. I wouldn't be able to keep up with you. Admittedly, it helps that your Mom does all the cooking, leaving you free to entertain the guests. I hope you've got the stamina to keep it up all the way through the Christmas season and on to New Year's Eve.

Oh, the moment you said "red velvet cupcakes," you totally got my human's attention! You would have thought you had said "chicken!" Sounds like there has been lots of fun stuff going on at your place, Millie - you deserve some R&R!
