Tuxie Tuesday

As superior beings to humans, we Cats are always trying to teach our beleaguered caretakers.  Alas, this is a difficult job.  One [cat] would think that with a language consisting of millions of words, humans could at the very least understand one: "Meow."  But it is not to be.

However there are times when we see clear evidence of our influence, and it can be quite a surprise.

You don't believe me?  I show the following photograph of clothes Mom bought the other day.  I have told her for years that I am always perfectly attired and do not need any extras to add to my already perfect wardrobe of tuxie furs.

It looks like my lessons are finally beginning to sink in!

Glory be.

Black, Black, Black and White Wednesday

Later today, Mr Karate will be promoted to Third Degree Black Belt. In honor of that occasion, today isn't Wordless Wednesday, but Black, Black, Black and White Wednesday.

Monty, honey, you just might need your cushion!

Stormy, Smelly, Sewing Sunday

It's raining out today, and the snow is being stubborn, and not going away.
This is what all the commotion was about yesterday. Mom makes a special bread with cooked white rice, white cornmeal and freshly ground black pepper. Mom says this unusual bread toasts well and makes excellent sandwiches. Both Monty's Big Beans love it. It is called Black and White bread. So take a good look at it... Does it look black and white to you?Didn't think so.

To say the hot-as-hell-box got a workout yesterday is an understatement of epic proportions. Mom also made six loaves of her bread,

and lots of cookies.Today she'll be making more bread doing some sewing too.

It's supposed to be "Easy Like Sunday Morning" today, except I don't think Mom knows "Easy."
