Happy Anniversary Mim-may & Pip-pay

Before we look outside, I want to concatulate Mim-may and Pip-pay on their 28th anniversary. Mom and I visited yesterday and gave them some green papers to use to have some fun. Mom says they will go to Cotton. I hope they use it to get lots of BEEF, because that's the best.

 The snow is still here, and tomorrow, finally, the When When Contest will start in earnest.

I can't wait!

Today is Pip-pay's Birthday.  I know for a fact he is older than dirt a geezer bean. I like him a lot. He takes care of me when Mom goes on walkabout. He feeds me, keeps me company and plays with me.  Mom loves him too.

Happy Anniversary Mim-may and Pip-pay! Today they have been married 27  26  years. (I think. That's a very big number, and I am only a cat. Hey look, Mom can't count either.) That's Mim-may on the left and Pip-pay on the right with Rubylocks and Mr Karate between them.

O My Bast!

Mom got home from her day hunting gig last night and fed me my wonderful stinky goodness. Then Mim-may and Pip-pay came over for dinner and brought Missy-the-Woofie.

While I was napping in a stack of Mom's fabric, Missy-the-Woofie ate all my stinky goodness! She ate all my crunchies and she even slept in one of my favorite napping spots!!!!!

I felt like Goldilocks!

Mom refilled my bowls after Missy-the-Woofie left, but let me tell you, THAT's not gonna happen again!!

Happy Anniversary Mim-may & Pip-pay!

Happy Anniversary to Mim-May and Pip-pay! They are two of my most favoritest human beans in the whole world, and have been married... uh, um... twenny... twenny-two... ah... twenny-three years? A long time.
Clementine, you are not a lucky cat. It snowed here yesterday! You did not win the When When Contest.

Hip, Hip, Hoo-ray! Pip-pay is OK!

Hip, hip... Mom sure is funny! Pip-pay's doctors said the surjery would take an hour and a half, if everything went well, and they were exactly right. An hour and a half after he went in, he had his new bionic hip and he was on his way to the recovery room. Everything went according to plan, and Pip-pay's heart was A-O-K during the whole thing. The doctors told Mim-may and Mom to go home and come visit tomorrow, that Pip-pay would be too sleepy to even know they were there.

WELL! Mom brought Mim-may home, and was making dinner when the phone rang, and it was Pip-pay! He said he wasn't feeling any pain at all! He sounded great!

If his bionic hip continues to heal the way it should, he will be moved to a rehab facility on Wednesday or Thursday, and should be home with Mim-may and Missy in time for Turkey Day next week!

I want to thank every cat, kit, woofie, bun & bean who found time to send a purr or prayer in Pip-pay's direction. To all the cats who were kind enough to teleport over and purr with me during the day, you have my most profound thanks.

Purr-ayers Needed!

My Pip-pay is having surgery today. He needs a new hip, and his heart isn't so good. His doctors are gonna be very careful, but I would appreciate your thoughts and purrs. I really like Pip-pay, and everybody in the family loves him. Mom is gonna be with Mim-may all day. I'm gonna have my purr-er working overtime all day long. Any cats who want to teleport over and purr with me are most welcome.

Happy Birthday Pip-pay!

It's Pip-pay's 80th birthday today. Here is one of Mom's favorite pictures of him. That's the woofie, Missy, on his lap.

There's gonna be a big party today for him, and Mom is making -two- cakes. (One is gonna be chocolate, the other one is gonna have an angel in it. I don't think I would like that.) Mim-may is gonna make a cake of carrots.

I'm glad I get Temptations for my birthday.
