White Wednesday

How much snow did we get yesterday? I dunno, but it was more than 18 inches and less 24.

This was lunchtime yesterday.  You can see how the wind was blowing the snow around.

This was dinnertime yesterday. See how the car on the right was almost totally buried?

Lookit the snow on the neighbor's oil tank.

In other words, we got a LOT.  We were furry lucky, we did not lose power.  Mom and I were comfy and cozy all day long. I napped and Mom watched the tennis and worked on her tippy-tappy lapbox. When I got tired of napping, I plopped myself next to Mom and got scritches. When I was done with scritches I went back to napping.

It ended up being a good day for both of us.

Oh Millie - I'm so pleased that the power stayed on for you and your mom - although I guess it remained a worry that it might go off at any time. I hope you caught up on all your napping and your mom is enjoying the tennis.

Is your mom now facing the prospect of having to dig her metal masheen out from under a whole lot of snow?

Your day doesn't sound half bad Millie.
Maybe we should all have one snow day a week!

Very interesting to hear about how you manage in the snow - Millie.
We have been having a lot of rain - not nearly as interesting.
