Screenshot Meme

This is the current desktop on Mom's computer at home. She has one of those W-I-D-E flat panel monitors. Mom doesn't like a lot of icons cluttering up her desktop. The picture was taken by her brother. It's a view through a boathouse in Oregon. She changes the pictures often. The background is always black, and the picture is always something calm and soothing. (you can click the picture to biggify and see what's what on Mom's computer.)

Here are the meme rules:
Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun. Here’s how you can do a screen capture:
1.Go to your desktop and press the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
2.Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and doing a Paste (CTRL + V). If you wish, you can “edit” the image before saving it.
3.Post the picture on your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop if you want. You can explain why you prefer such a look or why it is full of icons. Things like that.
4.Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktops as well. I tag: Pixel the Kitty, Kashim & Othello, Luxor, Roxy, and my sweetheart Monty Q.
5.Add your name to the list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants. P.S. Mickey... MOM IS NOT A RUNT!
P.P.S. Mickey... Mr Karate says Mom doesn't need a Black Belt! He says Mom Fu is the most potent Martial Art system in the world...
P.P.S.S. Mickey... You better believe you are lucky to live in Canada!

And for the rest of you who don't know what this is about, check out Mickey's comments to my pal Roxy's blog post here.

Check out Bizzy for Gizzy too! Five Kiwi cats, who were among the first to order Gizzy quilts back in February, have posted pictures of themselves and their quilts. They don't have a blog, so this is your chance to read their stories and see their quilts.

Your mom has a very neat and tidy desktop. My mom would love one of those widescreen monitors. She hopes to get one someday.

Mom says Ooops!!!
I don't mean "runt" in a negative sense.Only that you, like me, seem to be that shortest in our families. I also forgot about MomFu. That IS a pretty potent force for sure!
So,I'm hoping you have a sense of humor as I sit here in relative safety, in Canada!

Hahahahahahahaha!!!! Mom's in trouble! Hahahaha! Usually it's me. Just shows that Moms aren't as perfect as they think they are.Hahaha, this is rich!Hahaha

Don't feel too mad at Mickey. Our mom is the tallest girl in her family and has always wished she was shorter. We think your mom is really cool and has a lot of great talents.

Oh yeah, da MomFu even works on dad! Our mom is the shortest in the fambly too, even the 17 year old is taller! Guess who is da "boss" in da fambly, not even da oldest, not da biggest just da one who is in charge. Reely, even her older sisfur calls fur advice!

Maybe Mickey should become more politically correct by using the term "vertically challenged" instead of the perjorative "runt"?

Beautiful picture!! Mom hides all the icons from her desktop. She doesn't like them either. When she does that at work, it freaks the IT people out!! You would think they would know!! :-)

You have a very nice picture on your desktop. I haven't been visiting lately and just read about Jasmine's problems today. I am very sorry that she is feeling poorly and having problems. I will send good thoughts her way.

Ninjacat, yeah, Mom's in IT, and she's got a guy that does that at her work too.
