Sightseeing

I love to go sightseeing. Mom, Julie and I went to see the Gateway Arch.

I rode shotgun with Julie.

At first, I couldn't see what the fuss was about.

But holy carp! This thing just kept getting bigger.

It's GIGANTIC!

It's SHINY, and it's SLIPPERY!

It's GORGEOUS. You can ride to the top, but because of the stupublicans, it was closed. (Mom said I couldn't say why it was closed, that I had to be nice.) Mom said it was OK because neither one of us likes to be in tiny dark places.

It's AMAZING.

My Mom, the Expert. My Mom, the Klutz

Mom had a good class yesterday in St Looee. I know because I was there.

I think the students liked her. They all had a good time sewing and I made a lot of new friends.

Mom likes to pretend she's smart and graceful, but let's face it, she's a bean.  When she was packing up from her class in St Looee, the cord to her tippy tappy lapbox went into a different box and ended up in Ellen-oise.

Since Mom couldn't use the tippy tappy lapbox at her speech if it was sleeping, she had to go to a big box office supply store to buy another one.

On her way in she stubbed her toe on the curb and fell. She landed all twisted up and now has big black and blue spots on both knees.

The good part is that nothing is broken except her belief that she's indestructible. The tippy tappy lapbox has a new cord and works just fine. The bad part is there is no photographic evidence for me to show you.

Rats.

Talk, Talk, Talk!

You know what Mom's big surprise is?

She's gonna TALK! That's it, just talk. Yak yak yak!  She does that ALL THE TIME! I don't know what is so special about Mom talking. Yak yak yak..

Well, actually, she is going to get paid green papers to talk to some quilters in St Louis Missouri, which is over a thousand miles away from here.  And Mom says her story starts with ME!

That's pretty cool.

You can all depend on me to spill all the secrets of this excellent adventure. See you in St Louis next October 5 and 6, 2013!
