February is almost over (finally.)
Lookit the snow outside Mom's studio. That's almost as much snow as Mom is tall (which is about 60 inches.)
I can't wait for the snow to go away. Mom says the high temperatures next week will be above freezing. Whee!

Finally Finally
Mom has finally finished rereading all the Harry Potter books. Now she's looking forward to being able to sleep late over the weekend.
It isn't going to happen. The finals of the French Open tennis are this weekend, as well as the last race of the Triple Crown. And Mom's expecting an order of quilting fabric, so she's going to want to sew.
But the real problem is that while she's been reading and sewing, she's been ignoring the housework. I don't think she's washed the dishes for a whole week.
As usual, she'll do her running around, and I will watch, and nap.

Invaded
It was great - I guess. I could smell good foods and hear everybean talking and laughing. One kidbean kept looking under the bed and sticking his hand in my face. I am pretty sure he wanted to be friends but I wasn't coming out for nothing.
As soon as the beans left, I came out from my hiding spot. I did get as much turkey as I could eat.

Finally Friday (and a little Freaky!)
Mom got her swap quilt from Helen, in Oz. Naturally, I had to inspect it first. It came rolled up in a tube with all kinds of cool stamps.
Now she is waiting on tenterhooks for Helen to receive the quilt she made.
I can't wait for the stuff around here to stop moving. It's a little crazy. I like to watch what's going on, not hide under the bed. Mom says "almost finished, Millie" but then she moves something else. Every night another move. Nothing's moving today, though. Mom is hunting the ever-elusive Month End and that means she won't be home until very late.
Ayla and Iza and TBT suggested in yesterday's comments that bloggers leave instructions about the computer and their passwords in a secure spot if "the awful awful" happens. Mom has that taken care of already. She did it for the day hunting gig and says it took her a week and a half and ten pages.
Now that freaks me out!

Finally Friday
It's finally Friday. Mom is thrilled. She turned off the alarm clock this morning and danced a little dance. After she day hunts today, she has a week of vacation, and she plans to sleep late every day.
Will she nap the whole week through? What do you think? She's going to finish this Gizzy quilt for Bella, a woofie.
The metal masheen is getting new wheels, and the V-word has been mentioned with my name attached.
And we are still purring for Pokey! Isn't she pretty? Her Mom makes great quilts, too.

Finally When!
The snow is GONE! The When When Contest is over. We have a winner!
The winner is The Chesney Cats. Funnily enough, they were the first cats to enter the contest! They will receive a package of goodies. Chesney Cats, please send me an email at darlingmille AT gmail DOT com with your snail mail address so we can send you your package.
Concatulations Chesney Cats!
Thank you to all who entered the When When Contest. Without you, the contest would not exist. I have been very flattered to hear from some cats that this is their favorite contest. Mom and I enjoy it very much also, and we have decided the When When Contest will be an annual event.

Finally Friday
Of course, Mom has -also- been watching the tennis at Roland Garros in France. She says on Saturday, she will watch Big Brown run in the Belmont Stakes.
I will try to make sure she sits down so I can be near her and purr. I will also do my best to teach her to take a nap when she is tired. After all, that's what I do.

Finally on Friday
Once a quilt starts getting really big, like the HAM Meezer Raffle Quilt, it gets heavy. Mom has a hard time managing it on her small sewing table, so she moves into the table room.
Here, the top is all finished. Mom and Auntie will tie the quilt on Saturday, and Mom will try to finish it all up on Sunday, so it can fly out to Mary Kay next week.

Finally.
