Finally Friday (and a little Freaky!)

Mom got her swap quilt from Helen, in Oz. Naturally, I had to inspect it first. It came rolled up in a tube with all kinds of cool stamps. Now she is waiting on tenterhooks for Helen to receive the quilt she made. I can't wait for the stuff around here to stop moving. It's a little crazy. I like to watch what's going on, not hide under the bed. Mom says "almost finished, Millie" but then she moves something else. Every night another move. Nothing's moving today, though. Mom is hunting the ever-elusive Month End and that means she won't be home until very late.

Ayla and Iza and TBT suggested in yesterday's comments that bloggers leave instructions about the computer and their passwords in a secure spot if "the awful awful" happens. Mom has that taken care of already. She did it for the day hunting gig and says it took her a week and a half and ten pages.

Now that freaks me out!

Well, you're not going to die of boredom, are you Millie? Lots going on; new things to look at; new smells to smell; new hiding places to seek out. I'm sure the worst of it will be over soon, so hang in there.

Hope you girls can have a quiet weekend with not too much moving around.

You can come over here, sweetie. My bean is tearing apart the kitchen. Nothing of cat interest there.

Are we going to see the quilt, now that you've inspected the package?

Hang in, the stuff has to stop moving sometime! :-)

Phew! I'm glad to hear your world is gonna stop shifting on you every day!

Mom's got a whole folder in her desk, but she thinks it will prolly just help somebody steal her bank accounts if they break in so sometimes she thinks about storing all that information online somewhere but then she thinks she's have to keep a password for THAT so what's the point?! It makes her head hurt.

you can come over here too Millie because MY bean will be tearing the entire house apart in a cleaning frenzy Monday. I hate the new loud thing she pushes around. It shrieks at me as she goes from room to room, so I go back under the bed.
