Mom did chores this morning. I did this.
Mom saw a new visitor in the garden. He did not want to meet her, and he slid away.
Our peonies are blooming.
This planter of pansies and false cypress greets you as you pull into our driveway.
Mom has two of these planters filled with plants to attract hummingbirds. We do have a hummer in our yard. Mom saw him today as she was standing on the porch.
This planter has a silver Heuchera, a Trollius and a Bugbane. I do not know what any of those are, but Mom seems pretty excited about them.
Mom really likes this planter with a red Canna. Around it she planted some Dusty Miller and some Pinkish Heucheras. She also planted a Columbine and some other stuff I can't pronounce. In back of the big rock she planted some Lavender and a tall Echinacea. There are lots of pretty things to look at and I am excited to be living here. It is very quiet and pretty.

Hope you have a an easy Caturday, Millie.

How cool that you have a garter snake in your yard - they are great garden protectors!
Quiet and pretty are good places to have where you live. Me too!
That's lovely Millie. Don't worry, Mom can not pronounce most of those things either!
