It is snowing this morning, and so it is grey. Too dark for a photo of me sitting on my kitty condo in the sewing room watching over my domain.
Mom has chosen the view for the When When Contest, and it isn't the one you think.
It's this view, outside the front of the house. I think Mom was very tricksy when she chose it, because those big piles of snow will take a long time to melt... Oh well. When When Watchers, get ready, but not too ready, because we have to get through February before the contest starts. And the snow has to still be here by then.
Heh.

Millie, do I spy a bird house outside your sewing room view? You are going to have a great time watching when there are baby birds being cared for this spring.
As you have read from us before,Millie - (those of us who live in non-snow areas) we really think that all of that looks very pretty -you have heard it lots of times. But I know, hearing from people who live with it months of each year, that the "prettiness" wears off and it can become very tiresome.

Okay Millie. Your mom is very tricksy, I'm sure. Prior to the launch of the inaugural When When contest Mark II, we'll need information on the direction of the sun's movements over this site, barriers to sunlight (trees, buildings), starting depth of the snow piles and your mom's prediction about which part of the snow in this pic is likely to be the last to melt. Gotta give some of us with less familiarity with winter snow a fighting chance, you know!

But those piles of snow will get sun to help melt them. Interesting choice!
You have more snow than we do this year! And you're welcome to it!!!
