Yup, that's it. Just a stack of paper. 277 pages, to be exact. Mom says that Mister Soft Word told her there are seventy-nine thousand seven hundred twenty-four words on all these pieces of paper.
Mom says she'll take it out when the snow is all gone, and then she'll start "murdering her darlings."
Yeah, I don't get it either.
Here is the obligatory snow shot. It is a beautiful day, sunny and warm. (Well, warm for March!)

Wow, that is impressive! Even better that she is putting it away for a while before editing it. Smart human!
OMC, Millie, we didn't realize that's what your mom was tippy-tapping. Congratulations on finishing her stack of paper! Our head peep is "tearing hers to shreds", but we haven't seen any shredded paper yet. It's all rather puzzling.
We think your mom is very brave to let you stand next to her stack of paper when it doesn't even have a binder clip on it. Our head peep won't let us near a loose draft like that. Talk about no fun.
Good work Millie, you make an excellent paperweight, MOL!

Now my snoopy human did her best to read the title, and your Mom is a sneaky one, isn't she? Best of luck with it resting a while.
Congratulations Millie's mom on an extraordinarily impressive achievement.
And Simba - I think the writing on the front page says "This is a true story" - and they're the very best kind, don't you agree?

Mom is very smart to put it away till the snow melts. It will be easier to murder!
Killing off the darlings is hard. But hunting for adverbs, that's kinda fun. QUICKLY, BRUTALLY, KILL THE ADVERBS! =snort=
No, really. Kill them.
