We are in that 2 ft + area. (Well, barely, but still...) For my Aussie pals, 2 feet = 24 inches = 61cm!!!
Mom went food hunting last night after supper. When she got there, the parking lot was full and there were no shopping carts waiting (which is why Mom grabbed one from the parking lot as she walked in.) Mom said there were no bananas, no bread, no chicken and no ground beef. You know what else was (almost) gone? STINKY GOODNESS!!!!!!!
Mom was able to find enough of the flavors I like so I will not run out.
The storm won't really get going until late tonight, but the schools are all closed today. Mom will make some bread and roast a chicken so there will be food to eat even if the power goes out. We have batteries, lots of food and all the electronic gizmos are all charged up.
Stay tuned. Mom and I will try to post sorta regular updates during the storm.
Update, 8:46 AM Friday.
You know your Mom REALLY loves you when she goes out first thing in the morning to buy more of your FAVORITE Stinky Goodness!!! Now I can truly relax.
PS, since we have had requests, here is Mom's Zombie Eye. If you don't want to look at it, don't scroll down. If you do...

Whoa! Your human's eye is scary even after three days! I hope the storm isn't anywhere near as scary - I am glad you are stocked up on your food, Millie!
We hope you and mom are safe and warm during the huge storm. Wow that is a lot of snow, Miss M you better stay snuggled in your cat cup. We are glad to hear that your mom got some stinky goodness and some other goodies.

Oh Millie - I'm so relieved to know that your mom was able to find some stinky goodness. Mind you, I think you should ask for some of that real live dead roast chick-hen and conserve the stinky goodness in case things get really desperate. Chin up!

That eye looks scary. We hope it doesn't frighten You to look at it Millie.
Dad made a special trip to Pet Smart last night to stock us up on stinky goodness. They are not too prepared for a power outage, but Dad did test start the snow blower.
Miss Millie...
Please stay warm & safe& take care of Mom & let her give you lots of scritches !!
xoxo
Yep, pretty much a zombie eye!
Stay safe, Millie!
Your Mom's poor eye! We're keeping you in our purrayers. Glad your Mom is a planner and has everything ready. Stay warm! xoxoxo
You be careful out there. Wait for the snow plows to get you out. Mum always has enough foods to eat that we could last for days staying in the house. Matter of fact that is what she does a lot these days.
We hope the Big Snow spares you somewhat. And BTW, we ARE regretting scrolling down to see the Zombie Eye (but we HAD to look).
Update: You're mom is a legend - or perhaps she just didn't wanna share her chick-hen with you? LOL

Stay warm and safe!
