It's dark out! If this is somebody's idea of saving daylight, I think they need to have their head examined. I, with my super cat eyes, can tell there is still snow on the ground. Panda Bear, you will have to believe me until it gets light enough for Mom to take a picture, but you did not win the When When Contest.
(ok, Mom says the sun will be hiding behind the clouds today.)
It was a busy weekend for Mom. She went food hunting, and other stuff hunting. She brought back new sheets and put them on the bed -before- we could play the make-the-bed game. Mom claims she does not want the new sheets to have holes in them just yet. I do not know what she is talking about.
Mom also cleaned the pots and pans in the kitchen and did the washing machine shuffle. AND she put all the clean laundry away. Then she spent the rest of her time in the sewing room working on a quilt.
Me? I didn't help. I just watched. That's my job. I'm a CAT, after all.
For those of you who guessed the snow would be gone in April, and think they have NO chance at winning the When When Contest, I present you an alternative.

You see Millie - the daylight is being saved up somewhere, which is why you don't have any at your place at 7 in the morning.
As for holes: until recently I slept on a waterbed. Many years passed without any problems with the cat(s): once they got used to the movement of the water underneath them when they jumped on the bed, they liked it a great deal. One day, however, my cat got all razzed up, dashing from one end of the bedroom to the other (I think you call it the thundering herd of elephants game) and then he jumped up on the bed while I was trying to put fresh sheets on it. He was so hyped up that his claws were out and he put a hole in the bed! Dearie, dearie, dearie. He was in trouble that day, I can tell you. (Fortunately we had a puncture repair kit and were able to use it before the bedroom was flooded!)

holes in the sheets? our the mom has the same complaint. we think it's just 'acuase her sheets are older than dert.
The snow is always slow to go in our backyard because it faces north and doesn't get the sun as much. So it can be spring in the front of the house and still winter at the back!
Our Mom and Dad went to a quilt show on Friday and Sunday. Nor the Granddaughter is here working on her quilts. Thank you for an alternate for all of us that guessed April~
You mean you can poke HOLES in the sheets? Wow. I never tried that! Thanks for the suggestion.
Yer Mom certainly WAS busy! The Big Thing was gone most of Sunday, but he only came back with a few books. BORING!
Wow, your Mom was super busy!!
