If this is January, then there must be snow in New Hampster. Isn't it pretty? The thermometer outside reads 32F, which is 0C. Mom wouldn't say that's particularly cold for winter. She'd say it's nice.
Then again, she's a bean, and we all know beans don't know anything. One thing I know for sure, though, is that I am very, very happy to be a formerly feral cat.Ahh... napping on a nice, soft, warm pile of laundry inside after having a dinner of my favorite stinky goodness. Yup, doesn't get a lot better than this. I think I'm going to command Mom to sit in the recliner so I can get some scritches...

Very pretty picture! It's a bit colder here this morning, so maybe it's headed your way. The thermometer outside reads 15 F. But it's 71 F inside, so we are very happy and grateful. (On Christmas the power went out, and the temp INSIDE got down to 50 F.)

It's even cold here in Florida! Enjoy your nap!

sounds like what we are doing today except its 18 and SUPER windy here in Virginia
That does look pretty, but it also looks very cold. We're glad you're formally feral too. Keep warm!
Happy New Year!
Oh what a beautiful scene!! You and your Mom are so lucky to have snow to look at, although it probably gets old after a month or so huh? Anyway I wanted to wish my favorite cyber-cat and her Mom the very best in 2010! I have so enjoyed following your blog this past year and I'm looking forward to another year of smiles each morning with my coffee.
Be safe, warm and loved,
Susan
It was 20 at Shadows home today! Stay warm and get those snuggles.
Missed you Millie. I had some bad stinky goodness for New Year's Eve dinner and I am just now visiting your blog. Nurse Rusty never left my side. Stay warm.
Happy New Year Millie & Mom!
Napping on a warm laundry pile is just about one of the best ways to spend an afternoon!
Happy New Year!!!
Way to go Millie. Hope your mom is also enjoying a relaxing evening.

Uhm, we woke up to -15 and saw zero in the afternoon - dropping again. What you say is cold we would call a heatwave! You betcha it's a good thing to be an inside kitty.☺
Wow, what a lot of snow. Although we got that cold last year, and had the tiniest bit of sleet for 5 minutes, we never get the snow.
Keep warm and toasty ladies.
Oh Millie, you sure know how to live it up right ;)
P.S. hope you got those skritches!
I wish it was 32 degrees, we are closer to zero!
