I feel your pain Millie (and Mom). As an Australian, I know disappointment in such matters. We didn't even have anyone make it through to week 2 of the competition. Chin up - a bowl of stinky goodness is bound to help.
Well, our Mum is pretty fond of Roger too, so she was a bit disappointed when she read the news. But...there'll always be more tennis matches, and Roger will be back!
I know how you feel, Millie, my mum was listening to the match last night and it was 2 sets all and she had to go to bed because it was really late here. She loves Roger so she was really disappointed this morning to hear that he lost. But at least it was a nice long match so I'm thinking your mum probably got home from work in time to watch the end? And Roger's bound to come back and win again! My mum wanted to go and see the Masters Cup end of season event with the top 8 players at the O2 Dome in London in November but it was sold out.
