You all know that Mom grows Herbs in a container garden in the back yard. This picture was taken a week or so ago.
Mom's got several kinds of Basil, some Thyme, Mint, Sage, Oregano, Marjoram, Parsely, Chives, Rosemary, Tarragon and even some peppers and grape tomatoes. All summer long she has been picking Basil leaves and making that yukky Pesto she goes on and an about.But last night, she went out and murdered some of those Herbs, and then hanged them. Here's proof:

There's 'Nip hanging in the front hallway, too.I'm telling you, she's just about lost her mind. You should have heard her squeeing when she opened a package that had a quilt from her Doll Quilt Swap 7 partner.
I'm gonna go nap under the bed.

That's very harsh of you Millie! The herbs don't mind - not really. And they look like they've all lived a very happy and healthy life at Mom's place. Why not tell yourself that they have just moved on to the next phase in their lives?
And, what would you do without some freshly-harvested 'nip from time to time? Does that make you an accomplice after the fact? LOL

Mom's and plants have a totally different relationship than mom's and cats!
She is cleary deranged! I mean those herbs are already dead, what does she need to hang them for??

Oh Millie, trust me, once those herbs are done hanging (including the cat nip) they will be even better!
If those herbs an' especially that 'nip was hangin' in our house Mr. Forrest would be leapin' an' jumpin' as high as he could to get it for some noms.

The momma says it's called the circle of life!! I don't understand it either, but I'm with you it just can't be right. I can't believe she even murdered your 'nip -( Oh the horror!!!

Very impressive. Our mom can't grow any herbs (from seed), we wish she would keep trying the nip....
