Do you think she is working on something she is supposed to be sewing? Well, she's NOT! She bought herself a pattern! She has been seeing this Bento Box Quilt
on the net lately and she thought it would be a good way to use up some scraps. (This one isn't hers, it's from Pink Chalk Studios.) You can see more pictures of Bento Box Quilts here and here and here and here.
Here's what Mom has so far. Each big block is made up of 4 smaller ones. She says to make a big (bean) quilt she'll need at least 52 more of the big blocks.Mom says the little experiment has helped her get back into her groove about sewing.
She has to go Day Hunting today too, to do the Month End junk. When she gets back, she'll be working on the stuff on The List.

That looks like a really neat quilt. Is she making a bean sized quilt? Mom would like to start quilting, but just doesn't have the room to really set up her sewing machine right now.

You are such a big help with Mom's quilting! My favorite time to quilt is when my cats are around to help with sorting scraps and laying out blocks! :) Everything is better when shared with a friend!
