When it is doing this outside:
This is the only thing to do:
It is the # 1 benefit of being -formerly- feral.
Thank goodness! Mom estimates we got 10" snow yesterday alone. She stayed home from work.
Did she take it easy like me? Heck no! She made 12 loaves of English Muffin Bread, a quadruple batch of Brownies, a double batch of Chocolate Chip cookies, Peanut Butter cookies, some giant Snickerdoodles and some Biscotti. She also did all the laundry and wrapped all the Christymas presents. Then she went out and dug the silver macheen out of all the snow. On Sunday (because she has to work on Saturday) she will bake MORE bread and three more batches of cookies. And she's actually looking forward to doing it.
OH, still no stocking yet for me! And I haven't seen a Christymas present under the tree with MY NAME on it. However, I have been exceptionally good, and haven't climbed the tree at all since she decorated it, so I think it is perfectly reasonable to expect both.

Millie, I cannot imagine you not having a gift or two for Christmas, I think you have been a very good FF kitty!
Nap on and stay warm!
Your FF friend
12 loaves?!?
I'd say I'll come over to help you feel better, but MomBean's already in the car...
There is nothing like bein formerly feral, laying in a nice warm house and remembering dat yoo could be out in dat icky cold wet and starving...der was a kitty on our front porch last night, mom put out da old igloo wif da self warming pad and some extra food...den she noticed while he was eating dat he had a collar on! What kind of bean would let der kitty out in dis weather?
Go to your Mom right away and demand that stocking. How else is Santa going to fill one for you!
I'm sure that your Mom has some Christymas surprises for you. By the way, I won't be able to catch your blog until after the holiday, so have a Merry Christmas! (And send a message to Mother Nature -- no more snow in New England!)
Millie there is nothing like curling up on Mom's clothes for a good long nap. I am sure that you will have presents under the tree with your name on them.
Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
Millie

Our snow in Michigan is melting, and actually it's raining today! Our white Christmas may not happen after all!
And Millie, we think you've been exceptionally GREAT this year, so we're sure Sandy Claws has a nice present for you!
Merry Christmas from the gang at

Millie, your mom loves you so much. You have to know that by now. She'll make sure Sandy Claws leaves you some goodies.
WOW...you did get hit with the snow! Napping is absolutely the best tactic to deal with this kind of thing!
Millie, my mommy wants to come over and eat! That all sounds yummy. I am glad you and your mommy are both safe and warm.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am sure Sandy Paws will be very, very good to you.
Have you checked the attic? Humans love to hide presents in the attic. She's playing a game with you, Millie. Your presents are there somewhere. All you have to do is find them. A good time to look would be while she is preoccupied with baking.

Wow ... Your momma was really busy. Mine made some weird "mints" with Ritz crackers an' minty chocoate that she saw on Martha Stewart a couple of days ago. They were a gift for the man in the bloo shorts.
Mom doesn't do much baking if she can help it. She doesn't have the knack for it.
There are pressies for me (an' the Feline Americans) under the tree 'cuz we've got our Secret Paws, but Mom won't let us open them until Christmouse. Maybe yours are just hidden?
Enjoy your nap ... I sure would like to have some of your snow.

We are sure Mom is jus keepin yer stuff safe from "early investigation" until The Big Day!
That looks like the bestest thing to do on a snowy day, Millie. Especially with all of those good smells in your house!
