This is Mom's most very favorite Christymas decoration. It is a music box of Santa with some toys.Mom hates "cutesy" things. Over 10 years ago, she was with a friend at the Mall, and the friend wanted to look at this store that sold only music boxes. Mom thought the store had only sticky-sweet stuff and wasn't interested, but she followed her friend into the store. Way at the back, on a high shelf, Mom saw this guy. He was terribly expensive. Mom couldn't stop looking. The two friends left the store.
Mom went back to the store three times to look at this guy.
Finally she bought him. She didn't tell anybody she had spent a small fortune on a Santa music box, but when she brought him home and showed Mr Karate and Mim-may, they both thought he was spectacular.
Mr Karate wants him.
Mim-may wants him.

My Mommy isn't into cute either, she likes unusual stuff. We all want your Santa too (but we think you make a great hat for him!).
We hate all the cutsey things too! Well we do not like them....sorry forgot my Victorian manners there! What really ticks my mommy off is immitation plastic hee hee!
The Santa looks like an old world Father Christmas. I can see how the mommy lost her heart to him.. You are doing a gr8 job standing on top of him.

Ooo, mom loves yoor santa! Do not break him, we have a feeling dat if yoo broke him yoor mom would be furry angry. Mom has a collection of Santas and she don't let anyone buy her any more cuz she sez dey hasta 'call' to her. Mom's are silly.
The Santa isn't made of ceramic, it is made of some type of resin. He's supposed to be a "Folk Santa." Mom thinks that's kinda funny, because she doesn't think there's anything folksy about him.

Cool Santa. It makes is special that your mum splurged to get it, sometimes you gotta do that. Be careful standing on top of it, we don't want it to break.
First, he doesn't turn in circles.
Second, he plays The Christmas Song. You know, "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire; Jack Frost nipping at your nose..."
