Don't Cry for Us!

Everycat & bean,

Thanks for your kind thoughts, but please don't cry for us. We are not so sad we are miserable. We are doing OK. Jasmine and I are getting pets from Mom, and we are making sure she isn't lonely. Jasmine and I are figuring out how we are going to get along. I keep asking her to play and she says "Go away!" Someday she'll change her mind, I just know it.

In the meantime, I play in the sewing room when Mom is working on Gizzy Kitty Quilts. Jasmine watches from the worktable.

O.K., so she doesn't watch.

We are glad things are coming along there. Maybe a truce is the best you can ask for. That sweing room looks like so much FUN!! We wonder how your mom gets her work done with you in there being so cute!

We know how it is to have someone you love, missing in your life. It is an empty feeling but you have courage!

You have a great time while your mom sews and Jasmine "watches" haha

Oh yeah, dat's how Zippy watches us too-hahahaa. How duz yoor mom get any work done. My mom would get dragged into kitty games and neffur get anything done. Sometimes she duzzent play wif us so we just go lay down and watch her, or we play wif each other (except Zippy, she's old and cranky).

It took a while for Angel to play again after we got Taz. I'm sure that Jasmine will warm up to Millie soon!

We are glad to hear you are doing well. We wish Millie could visit Madness so the 2 of you girls can play and leave us grown-ups alone.

Millie,
Sometimes the oldsters just don't know what they are missing. Its good that you are teaching the momlady that you want more than just treats and food. I'm *still* trying to teach mine that any chair I want to sit in is mine. yeah, I'm talking about the desk chair!

I hope Jasmine does come around, eventually. In the meantime, have fun playing with your toys and hanging out with Mom.

Your momma makes bee-yootiful quilts, Millie!

Our hearts go out to you, missin' Giz. He sounds like he was a great mancat and a great brudder.

I hope Jasmine mellows out with you soon! I've been livin' with my beans since late Feboorary and my two oldest sisturs, Marilyn and Brainball, like me, especially Brainball. But the youngest sistur, who's about a year and a half older than me, is kinda hissy with me, though lately she's gotten to where we can sleep on the bed together if we're far enough apart.
