Three of these are supposed to be Red Rubin Basil.Three of these are supposed to be Purple Ruffles Basil.
Three of these are supposed to be Sweet Basil.
Three of these are supposed to be Green Ruffles Basil.
Three of these are supposed to be Thai 'Siam Queen' Basil.
Three of these are supposed to be Spicy Saber Basil.
Six of these are supposed to be Genovese Basil.Three are supposed to be Peppermint, three others are supposed to be Marjoram.
To me, they're all just DIRT! I just don't understand it. Mom gets 24 dirt pots of Basil and I get two measly dirt pots of 'Nip.
I mean, I know Mom likes Pesto, but this is ridiculous.
I'm just sayin'.

I never knew there were so many different kinds of basil. Hey, be glad that you got two pots of nip. Lots of kitties don't get fresh, home-grown nip.
As well you should say, Millie. Now if it were 24 dirt pots of nip, that would be different.

mi mom luvz pesto ... she eevin makez green eggz an ham fer mi 2-leg sistahz on speshul okashunz! (she learned dat recipe in provincetown las summer) she makez her own pesto all da time. she'z gointa grow da "verree ekspensiv in da soopermarket" basil but ware can she find da pine-nut tree?

Huh, our mom has pots of dirt in da little bafroom and no nip in doze eether. She sez dey is vejabuls fur her and daddy to eat and fur her to kan fur da winter. We'z got a big catnip plant down by da fence but a little pot of it inside da howse wood be pawsome.
She coulda taken all that nice dirt and made an au-natural litter box for you to enjoy!
My Mommie loves basil too! She doesn't really cook, but she makes a salad with basil leaves, fresh mozzarella, tomato slices and oil and balsamic vinegar. I only like the cheese part.
Sweet! Can I come over to help harvest? I won't eat much...

Hi Millie - we is sorry we has not visited in a couple of days - mommy has been busy wif her werk. it will get better wifout Gizzy - it was hard for us for about 3 monfs to adjust - but then we losted trixie after we started adjusting, so we hadded to adjust all ofurr again. It takes time, but it does get better.
Our mommy was out playing in dert too - that's kind of silly. she is gonna put a new tree out front and some new walls for the garden and stuff, so many plans. last summer she was really sick, so she couldn't do anyfing wif the gardens. this year she has too many plans.
