The house next door is for sale. No beans have lived there for almost a year. Every few days metal masheens pull into the driveway, and beans go for a walk around inside, then the get back in their masheens and go away.
The house needs a little work. The hole you see in the wall next to the window is a hole for a dryer vent.
The hole has no cover, making it a great spot for a small family to move in. I think this is Mrs Bird. She and Mr Bird fly to the nest a lot, but didn't let Mom take their picture until this past weekend.
Mr and Mrs Bird have two young chicks who can be VERY noisy when they are hungry. They chirp a lot at breakfast and dinnertime.
Mrs Bird has to go food hunting several times a day.
The little chicks have big appetites, and very little patience.
Mom and I both hope the Bird family will have left the nest before the house is sold, so they can find a new home before they get evicted. Mom seems to be pretty sure new bean owners might not be so happy to share their house with Mr and Mrs Bird and the little Chirps.Dunno why.
