Mom saw this sculpture in Concord. She says she barely fit between in this space. She thought it was very cool, and says it's a real rock.Uh huh.
Now this is a rock. Actually it is Mom's brother, while on belay while climbing up El Capitan in Yosemite Valley California. Mom guesses he is about 1200 feet in the air in this shot (about .36km).This photo was taken in October. He's one of the oldest (if not THE oldest) people ever to climb El Cap.
It's his birthday today. He's 55.
