Noo Day Thoorsday!

My trip to Mary-land exposed me to new things. Like fish. See... Tonight, after Mom comes home from her day-hunting gig, we're both gonna have toona for dinner. She's gonna add some stupid pasta to her toona, but I'm gonna eat mine plain.

After that, I'm gonna sit right in her lap while she watches her favorite TV show. I need my claws trimmed, so she's gonna take care of that too.

But that's not even the best noos. This guy loves Mom and me so much, he's gonna come live with us!

I am -so- excited.

Momentous News

Mom has like some serious heavy duty momentous news she wants me to tell you.

It's all about me and frankly, I can't see what the fuss is about.

No, I did not win the lottery.

OK.

Yesterday Mom was cleaning up the living room. She was folding the blankets when the phone rang. She sat down, putting the blanket she was folding on her lap. It was a nice fleece blankie.

I saw she was sitting in the recliner, so I thought it would be a good time to get scritches. I ran over, and jumped up. Then I saw the fleece blankie and I thought "Oooh! Fleece! My favorite!"

So I tested it with my paw, and then curled up on it.

Oh. My Goodness. I thought Mom was going to explode, she was almost sqeeing.

I do NOT know what the excitement was about.

It's not like I was sitting on her lap or anything. Because I wasn't, you know. I was sitting on the fleece blankie.

Amazing Monday

Mom finally got smart and put the aff-gan on top of the down comforter. I like that a lot. I spent a lot of my time on the bed yesterday. Here I am watching the birdies in the bushes outside.

I have amazing news. Guess where I slept last night? In my nifty bed? In the heated cat cup? On my cat hammock? No, no and no.

I slept on the bed with Mom. Right next to her all night long.
