Easy Like Sunday

Mom says this is a Very Big Deal. Why? Because she has never seen me nap with my back to the room. Usually I nap where I can simply open my eyes to see anybody coming.

Mom got Jackson Galaxy's new book "Catification" and he says that a cat is really comfortable with her territory when she does what I am doing.  Mom has been reading the book very closely and wants to set up a "cat superhighway" here.

I can't wait.

Wowza Wednesday

Mom seems to think I need a scratching post so she went shopping online.

She was attracted to this little number. I think she's been watching too much Jackson Galaxy.

I certainly hope the extra cats wouldn't come with it. Not that I wouldn't mind someone to play with, but there is a limit.

I have been hard at work lately. Here I am furring up the fabric Mom has selected for the backing of the Caboose's quilt. I don't think it will be ready for our visit ---- -----, though. 

Nobody picked today as a possibility for the When When Contest, which is a good thing because there's still snow on the ground today.

 The weather has been good for melting. It has been sunny and the temperatures have been in the 40's F (that's 4.4 to 9.4 C), which after a long winter of freezing weather is considered "a really nice day" by the strange peoples that call themselves native New Englanders.

Millie Monday

Like my special buddy Max and his Mom, we watch Jackson Galaxy too. My Mom doesn't get real huggy when it's over though. Instead, the last time we watched, she got up an LEFT ME!

When she came back, she had a new feather toy. So I've been chasing that around and attacking it. Which is pretty cool.

I am so happy to have a Mom who "gets it", but I gotta tell you Jackson REALLY "gets" cats. I bet HE could get me into my PTU.

I hope he doesn't tell her!
