It's a Breeze!

What's missing in this picture?this stuff:
and the old litter box and big tin of kitty litter, and the silly mat.

It's official. I use the Breeze boxes. Yes, I have two of them, one in the litterbox room, the other is in the sewing room. I use them, Mom loves them.

Mom likes that it does not smell. Mom likes that there is no kitty litter tracked all over the place. Mom thinks it is easy to clean. Mom thinks the Breeze box is pretty.

So how did she get me to use it? Simple. She took DKM's advice. "Add more than one package of pellets, and remove the old boxes after a week."

Mom was also pleased to find the pellets and pads very reasonably priced at Wal-Mart.

Anybody want a Litter Locker?

Is it a Breeze?

I used it. I admit it.I used this one too.
OK, here's the scoop. (what a pun!) Before the Breeze boxes came here, I had two litterboxes. One in the litterbox room that I use for um, the ahh.. well, everything. And I only pee in the one in the sewing room.

But now we have two Breeze boxes. (The Breeze beans sent me one for free to try out, and blog about it. The other one just appeared out of nowhere.) Mom took away the old litter box in the sewing room, and left the Breeze box. I don't mind peeing in it. Mom likes it in there because the old box was low and I'd often spray litter all over the place. She doesn't like that it won't fit where the old one was. She moved it from where it was in this photo, below. She didn't think I'd want it to close to my cat hammick. She's right.I've pee'd in the one in the litterbox room too. The old litterbox is still in there, and it's getting kind of stinky and yukky.

Mom didn't think she'd like the Breeze boxes, partly because the pellets cost more green papers than she would like to spend. But then I jumped up on her work table and sprinkled some litter all over it. Mom wasn't best pleased. She does like that the Breeze boxes don't smell.

I think I'm in trouble.

The ABC quilt she made for the doll quilt swap is on its way to her swap partner, and she is very excited about that. Now she's working on a unique Gizzy Quilt, and next week she'll be working on one Kid-Sized Gizzy Quilt and then the pair of quilts for Mama Laura's twins.

She is also working on a really cool Gizzy Quilt variation. I am very excited about that, but I have to keep it a secret.

Tell Me Tuesday

Friends, I need some advice.

I got an email from Maureen, who works for the Breeze Litterbox System. She wants me to try it out and (presumably) tell the world how wonderful it is. I have read Max's story, and Skeeter, LC & Ayla's about the Breeze Box, and they didn't like it much.

Mom said the system got rave reviews on Amazon, where 86% of reviewers gave it 5 stars (that's 13 out of 15).

But we're not so sure.

For one thing, being formerly feral and all, I don't like new things much. And I don't track kitty litter all over the house, like Gizzy used to. And Mom says my box only stinks when I use it, and I cover everything up really well.

And of course, Mom likes to use the empty kitty litter tubs as planting pots for Basil and the other gross green yukky stuff she loves so much.

And Mom is "frugal." Which means she doesn't like to give away more green papers than she has to. Right now I have two litterboxes. One in the sewing room (I only pee in that one) and the other one in Mom's litterbox room, which I use for... well, you know.

So, what do you think? If you've used the Breeze System, let us know (in the comments) what you think. Did it work, or not? Do you cats like it or not? Is it more expensive than regular clumping litter? Does it really eliminate the smell?

Thanks!

(And Missy, ML, Nikki and Ollie, you guys are 100% right. That was Tux, the Linux penguin testing out -my- pocket on the backpack Mom made.)
