So it was really warm here.
So Mom opened the door to the front porch so I could sit out there for a little bit. Nothing surprising there.
When it got cold, Mom closed the door and I came in the house.
But so did a little visitor.
Mom woke up in the middle of the night because she heard me running around and making funny noises. So she got up and turned on the light. What she saw surprised her. I had found the little visitor and deaded it.
Mom told me she was proud of me, but I'm not so sure she was. She grabbed an empty box and a long piece of cardboard and put the deaded little visitor in the box and then opened the door and threw it outside. She kept saying "Eew. Eew. Eew."
She said she wasn't sure I had it in me, since I have been an indoor kitty for most of my life.
Yeah right.
Like the great Jackson Galaxy says, "Cats are predators, and they're damn good at it."

Cats are born to kill little furry things, Millie - you just did what came naturally to you. I bet you were fast and savage. Pity your mom missed all the action. Well done indeed! I wonder if any more snuck in while you were on holidays? You can only hope! I hope your mom gave you something really yummy - like some real live dead beef - to celebrate.

Paws up, Millie! I am impressed. The last time I tried to surprise my human with one of those, I didn't even put a scratch on it, and my human had to catch it and get it outside all on her own.
Very impressive, Millie.

Pawsome Millie!
Julie is the main mouser here.
Some get deaded and some get rescued by mum.
It's fun living in an old converted cottage.
There are lots of tiny holes for mice to sneak in and Julie waits...
