Millie Monday

I am sorry I did not post over the weekend. Mom was out doing errands and then she had to update her new phone.

I was mostly here on the kitty condo although I did spend a lot of time next to her on the couch getting scritches while she watched my pals, the guys named Pat demolish the poor Jags. Every time my pals, scored Mom jumped up and I ran away. Since the guys named Pat scored every time they had the ball, I did a lot of running. But I always got back on the couch for more scritches.

Last night Mom kept running in and out to watch the Moon turn red. Did you see it?

It's still early in the football season, Millie. Time to sit down with you mom and explain the rules of watching football with a cat. Rule #1: NO jumping up and down. Rule #2: No yelling or screaming at the TV. Rule #3: No matter what happens during the game, don't stop paying attention to your cat. Rule #4: If your team wins, celebrate by sharing some roast beef with your cat.

Sound fair enough?

Good luck.

A bit of a mixed weekend for you and your Mom, Millie.........I think we, on the other side of the world, have a very scrappy understanding of "your" football. The football season here , for the two most watched codes, is drawing to an end - two grand finals this weekend, actually. One on Saturday; one on Sunday - fortunately it is a public holiday on Monday, so those who have followed the losing teams will have a chance to "get over it"before returning to work onTuesday.

I am doing LOL for Miss Megan and what can't be done by our humans during feetsball. Sheesh, mum has been cheering and clapping all night.

Yeah, mum was in and out all evening watching the moon go into hiding. She was happy it was nice and warm, could go outside with bare feets.
