Easy Like Sunday Morning

This is what it looks like outside this morning.

It snowed yesterday. (This was taken at lunchtime.) It didn't amount to much. Because it was above freezing all day, the snow never collected on the roads or anything that was warm.

Mom and I are both surprised the snow is melting so quickly. We had so much of it, it seems it ought to melt slower, but that doesn't seem to be happening.  Of course, as the ground warms up (the ground freezes in winter in New Hampster) the snow melts from the top AND the bottom, so it melts faster.  What happens is the season we call "mud season."

Mom and I are hanging out today. She's got some sewing to do, and while she watches tennis on tv, I'll be watching my own personal Bird TV. It's gonna be a great day.

Ah - I hadn't realised that the snow melted from below as well as from above. Interesting!

Great pic of you taking it easy. Perhaps your mom could put a DVD on the computer for you?

Looks like 4 feet went to 2 feet overnight! We are guessing we wont be the ones to win the When When!

What a life! You really look as though you are enjoying Sunday.
Your Mom watches tennis - I was very interested in a big cricket match yesterday and WE (Australia) won !

We are very hopeful that our Cosmo's guess of next Thursday may be a winning When When guess, but nothings written in stone. If not 4/2, we are shooting for 2 weeks down the road on the 14th when Sasha's guess comes up.

Boy Millie, you sure are livin' large with your own personal Bird TV, custom made quilt to lounge about on & your mom providing you strange cat snacks that look like veggies in yogurt dip (Bleeck!). A perfect way to while away an easy Sunday, we all agree. We are still pestering our mom for a new kitty condo, but as soon as she delivers on that promise, we plan to start a campaign to get our own Burd TV. We think we have been messed around with when mom told us cats that burd TV was when we look out the window at the burds flying around our condo. Now that you have set us straight about how you really watch Bird TV, we want a set-up like you have Millie. Your Bird TV is da bomb Ms. Millie. You & mom have a great time sewing, watchin' tennis & checkin' out the birdies. Please tell us you are not really going to eat that bowl of veggies next to your foot Millie or maybe you were about to give them a swift bunnykick to the floor. The your mom might bring you a tasty bowl of beef crunchie treats for you to snack on during your programs. Now that sounds like an easy Sunday kind of plan.
