Tuxie Tuesday

Mom finished a Christymas quilt yesterday while she watched the tennis.  You can see more photos on her quilting blog, here. After she finished the quilt, Mom put it in the washing monster so it would get nice and soft and wrinkly. After that she gave it to me to do the final QA (Quality Assurance) check. It met all the requirements, but I thought it needed more fur.

Mom has been shopping for the new house. She has bought two lamps, a chandelier, a couple of floor mats, some towels, a wind chime, a shower curtain, rod and hooks, a small table and a new bed.

Yup, that's right. She got herself  us a new bed. She said the bed cost more green papers than my bionic leg. This, I have got to see.

I think all of your mom's quilts would benefit from more of your furs, Millie, so I'm pleased to see you working hard on this one.

I recall how much your bionic leg cost, so that must really be some bed your mom has bought for you to share. Perhaps it massages? Even if it does, it still wouldn't be as good an investment as you were.

What a beautiful quilt Millie! Christmas this year will be special with that on your dining table.
Enjoy your new "bionic" bed.

Wow your mum is spending the green papers like crazy. Our mum says typical of when you move, you need new stuff.
