When he was living in Mexico he adopted a dog he called "Tripod." When moved to Maine, he left the dog with a caretaker, and paid to make sure she was well taken care of.
Tripod is a great dog, very lovable, and she'll get a much better life if she has a furrever home. Lookit what it did for me! Please help.

Malcolm is a very good bloke. I was just re-reading your story on his old blog a week or so ago. It was very fortunate that it was him who happened by when you had been injured, as many other people wouldn't have rescued you.

Thanks for helping to spread the word, Millie. It's such a rare thing to have a rescue dog that has a good, loving family waiting for her, but just not the means to connect the two. With your help, I am sure we will meet our goal and get Tripod out of Mexico and safely to her new home.

We were not so surprised when we saw that the money had been raised in less than 24 hours. We all fell in love with Malcolm when he rescued you!
I succeeded! My first transfer with my Visa Card! (I generally use it to pay bills in restaurants). It seems you reached the amount you needed (I read this afterwards), I am very happy to see that people want to do something for their human and animal pals!
Let us know when Tripod will be "home"! :-)

Absolutely amazing! And not to worry...though we set a fundraising goal of $800, the total cost is actually more like $1200, so an extra thank you to everyone who contributed after the fact. 24 hours is pretty amazing, and we are so glad to be bringing this girl to the States.
Her flight lands in Albuquerque at 1:00PM on Monday. I will post a picture to her Facebook page, as soon as she gets to her new home safely. Thank you again for all of your support!
Maybe you can organize a welcome home party with the extra money... :-)
