Tuxie Tuesday

This is what it looks like outside this morning. The snow is still here. It will melt, of course.  Practically every tree in the neighborhood has lost branches. It's a pretty sad sight. Mom has seen rows of trees with devastating damage.
This tree is about half a mile from my house.  Many people in New Hampster do not have electricity, and there are entire towns without it.

Mim-may and Pip-pay will be coming over later with Missy-the-Woofie because they still don't have electricity or heat at their house.

Seems like just yesterday we were guessing when all the snow would melt! Strange to see fall foliage on the trees and snow on the ground! Stay warm pretty Millie! Purrs.

Well Millie - this is your big chance to really shine. You could help keep Mim-may and Pip-pay warm by sitting on their laps, couldn't you? And I'm sure that would also cheer them up. As for that silly little woofie, don't let her get comfy, in case she decides that she wants to stay. Loads of hissing and spitting I think.

We hope that everybuddy is warm and safe soon, and that the electricity gets turned on quickly.

After our three days of snow last year, we can't even imagine how cold and awkward it is for all of you. Our city almost came to a standstil, as it has never had snow like it before.

We lost a branch to snow, too. Early snows are so hard on trees. At least you have heat. You'll enjoy your visit with Mom-May and Pip-Pay. Just wish it was under better circumstances.

Your weather must be very upsetting Millie - when your Mom showed us the damaged trees etc. it really brings it home to your followers.
Love to the visitors - they will need your companionship - hopefully they won't need to be there too long because of what the weather has caused.
