Awkward Wednesday

Being a famous blogging kitty has advantages. I get asked to review all kinds of products.  Sometimes I get free stuff.  Most of the time I say no, but when the guys from Awkward Family Photos asked me to review their new book Awkward Family Pet Photos, I was curious.
We all know what it's like to have our beans pull out the flashy box at the most inopportune moments and take embarrassing pictures of us.

This book is a collection of the, best, I mean, worst, I mean... the most awkward photos of beans and the pets they love so much. Here are a couple of my favorites.
Can you see the Meezer in this wedding photo? Does she look happy to you?
Lookit this poor woofie, covered in aluminum foil. Love truly knows no bounds. We can all see he'd rather be someplace else.

When I received my copy, I wrote to the guys, "I'm kinda glad I'm NOT in this book!"

Since cats are so much superior to human beans, I regard this book as positively hilarious, and I can't wait to hear the laughter of all the fambly beans when they see it.

I also have a copy to give away! The publishers will mail a copy anywhere in the US or Canada, so if you would like to win a free copy of this very funny book, leave a comment, and a way for me to reach you.

And the next time your bean comes over with the flashy box.... RUN!

Oh, Millie ... I would love to win the giveaway copy of this book - if it comes to Memphis, I will take it to work and put it on the table in the reception area (there are so many woofie owners in our office and they just love funny/awkward photos). And it might even make some of our clients smile while they wait for their appointments . . . .

p.s. I'm happy you are not in the book, too!

Hey Millie - we are by no means famous but we look up to you in your awesomeness everyday. We would love to win a copy of the book to make sure we are not in the book as well. We especially want to make sure our Halloween photos are not included: the Chicken head costume was not our best day...

I'm concerned, Millie, that this book might give some beans ideas on how to photograph their pusscats or woofies. Do you think you should be party to promoting this kind of behaviour? Or perhaps you're intending to write a warning inside the front cover? I know that you don't enjoy the flashy box treatment, but I can't see your mom ever trying to dress you up in foil! Another reason why she's a Very Good Mom to have chosen.

LOL, we love the picture on the cover. That woofie looks flabbergasted with what is going on.
