As for Mom's week.... It was too good to be true.
Mom says they found the bug about mid-morning, but they all thought it was an overworked servant that couldn't keep up. It was a bug, and a bad one. It stopped stuff dead. Mom worked late. My dinner was late (and I didn't have ANY crunchies!)
Mom says a special sultan is trying to create a work-around, but the bug is still there, and it won't be deaded any time soon. The sultan costs a lot of green papers, but Mom says they have to get the work-around going. The big big job is done, and except for the bad bug, Mom is happy. Tired, but happy.
Mom PROMISED she won't be home late tonight.
She left me a bowl of crunchies though. Just in case.

She's a good woman, really, your mom. And she must have been mightily disappointed that a bug got into the computer somehow. Didn't you offer to go in and dead it for her? I'm sure you wouldn't have charged all that many green papers.

Bug? When it is found, do you think your Mom will bring it home to show you? ( for you to eat?????)
