We are fine.
We had a lot of rain, and it has been windy, but we are OK. We didn't lose electricity, internets, water, or anything like that. Mom has been working in the sewing room and watching TV. I have been hiding under the bed.
The weather guys said my part of New Hampster "missed a bullet." That's good. It's not over though. Irene may be gone, but she left a big mess.
Up in Campton NH, a dam may have been breached, and the Pemigewasset River* is expected to crest late tonight and a "wall of water" could flood downstream areas. That's not good.
But I'm OK. I'm looking forward to some nice real live dead cooked chick-hen for dinner.
*The Pemi river is a couple of hours north of us.

WE are so thankful that you missed the worse of it. Does that river flow through Manchester?
Glad all went Millie, and very excited about that chicken :)
Millie, we are very glad you "dodged a bullet". We did too in NJ. However be forewarned, the strongest gusty wind we have had so far is this evening/late afternoon. So don't let Mom risk going out tonight at all.
We are very glad ta hear you are OK an dint lose power an stuff! Hope ya enjoy that chick-hen...
I'm so glad you and your family are ok. Happy Purrs for you.
xoxo
Glad to hear you are OK. We've been thinking about you as we watched the TV coverage. Yum for the real chicken. Our Mom is some kind of vegetable eating freak, so we don't get real chicken. OK, so she does sometimes bring some when she eats with friends, but it's not enough!
Glad you are OK, We don't like nasty storms.
Yaaaay about the chicken, Millie. I KNEW your mom wouldn't have cooked that feast and left you out of it. It's almost worth battling through a storm to get some.

We are very happy you are safe. We are purring that the mess Irene left behind can be cleaned up speedily and without anyone being harmed.
Enjoy your chicken.
Glad nothing happened to you and your family. How lucky you are to get real chicken. We haven't had that in a long long time. Can I come have dinner at your house?
We lost power for about 5 hours, which is only an annoyance compared to what many people have suffered.
So we're grateful too.
I'm glad Irene did not hit you too badly, but that dam is really a concern! I am purring for those in danger of being flooded!
chick-hen sounds great! We hope that dam doesn't give. Purrs fur those people affected by Irene. Glad you and mom are ok. xoxo
Glad yoo are all safe Millie. xx
So glad that Irene went around you. Hope everything gets back to normal for you soon.
We are so relieved you and your mom were safe from the wind and torrential rain but we could see you weren't going to starve Millie.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Glad you are okay and your woofie cousins too.
