When it snows a little bit like this, it is called a "dusting." That big pile of snow in the background is over six feet tall (that's almost 2 meters for my Aussie pals).
Last night Mom was so involved with sewing she forgot to feed me my dinner! I had to remind her. Can you imagine?

Oh the inhumanity!
Infelinenity?
Forgot to feed you - we hope you gave her the BITEY.
Weren't you already bugging Mom from early on to be sure you got your dinner? Wow. Forgetting?
Humans need alarms clocks to get up - I think they also need alarm clocks for our dinner time!
What was she so involved with sewing that she forgot to feed you? We prefer our snow in 'dustings' as well.
Good grief Millie - that is absolutely appalling. You've been with your mom for more than four years and she can just forget to feed you?
Perhaps on this occasion a formal warning will suffice. But I do think that you need to say that any repeat of this episode is likely to lead to much more significant consequences. This is a very serious situation and she needs to be made aware of that.

Our Mom gets that involved, too. But we just pester Dad till he feeds us!
next time that happens, instead of a polite reminder just go on a "getting playful with the yarns" rampage.... Let me know if you need more ideas, I have 4 experts here that will lend a paw for help at any time.
Weve gotten that dusting 3 times so far. Just barely missed heavy snows. We are thrilled at that.
You dint get dinner? Unacceptable. Bite her toes...
