Woo Hoo! Lookit me! I went day hunting with Mom! Here I am sitting on her desk. (Hey Mom, you need a newer picture of Mooshie. He has lots of hair now!)I was a very good girlcat. I didn't knock anything over. That was really hard. There was LOTS of stuff I could have whapped. Mom has TWO computers at her desk! So silly!
I did a little exploring. This room is for talking. Which I think is pretty lame; everycat knows you can talk anywhere you want, but at Mom's day hunting gig, there are special rooms for it. Very weird. I would take a nap on that nice windowsill and watch the birds outside.
I really wanted to meet the servants Mom keeps talking about. Here are some of them. They weren't particularly friendly. I kept telling them to scootch over and make room for me, but they didn't move. Servants my eye! Dummies, more like!
This could be a lot of fun! Mom said No.
I have to say, Mom does absolutely NOTHING all day long! All she did was take a big pile of papers, write squiggles on them, and move them from one spot on her desk to the other. Yeah, she tippy-tapped on the computer all day too, but really, when she was done she didn't have ANYTHING to show for it. It was a really dull day. No wonder she never brings home anything interesting. Nothing interesting ever happens!
Have I told you lately how glad I am to be a cat?

Poor mom, stuck all day with a know it all cat.
And servents that don't talk .
I have never gotten to go day hunting. Sometimes Mom gets her day hunting work done at home, which I like. But I don't ever really think she has much to show for it either. Humans!
wow dayhunting.. looks like a nice place for your mom. and no those dont sound like good servants at all!

Well Millie: what do YOU have to show for yourself at the end of each day? I think it's perfectly reasonable for both you and your mom to spend your days doing things that don't necessarily produce a tangible outcome.

Millie,
I wish you had come out to say hello to those of us working at the other end of the building. It would have been the highlight of our day!!!
Our Mom and Dad were impressed with the servants and how neat the blue wires are. Dad use to do things like that in his job. WE are glad you has a great adventure at work with Mom even if is was boring!
Sounds like her time would be better of napping at home.
My human works at home, so I am here every day, supervising her. When I decide to go to another part of the house and take a nap, she drags me back up here. Sometimes I wish she would have someplace to do the day hunting thing.
We never get to out with The Big Thing (except ta the V-E-T). You are very lucky!
We don't get to go to mum's work either. She is just a paper pusher for sure.
Millie, those blue spaghettis look like fun! Too bad your Mom didn't let you play with them.
